Ladies of Elite,

Should guys be allowed to post here or should this place be all your own?

No.

And my friend you must have read my mind about creating this forum. For two months I've been thinking about PMing you about creating a women's chat but figured you wouldnt answer.

I'm torn. I hate to discriminate against people, but many of the men here are chauvinist pigs and generally drive my opinion of all men down. :(

I think Anya is right i nanother thread, I wouldn't feel comfortable dicussing OPENLY some "women's" issues if I knew all men here could see it. ALters will pop up, but as long as it is Moderated well, hopefully the annoying ones wil see they aren't tolerated here.

GS,

This forum should be "women only".

as a male mod I have no problem NOT being able to moderate this forum; I am sure the women mods can handle it....well, except for Velvett, she maybe needs some help.

I'm with Daisy. I hate to discriminate, but there are too many boneheads who will come here to try to flirt or get their rocks off. No offense to the reasonable men here at Elite, but there are way too many that disparage we female athletes (I'm thinking of a thread that was recently locked in the Anabolics forum...), or objectify us as simple sex objects. That's not the sort of environment we need to foster community and mutual support.

No.

Make it secure and private so they can chat and not be bothered with the straying moron yelling "post pics".

I believe that men should be able to post on the women's discussion, but Girl Talk should be female only. If we have something that we really want to post and get male opinion on, we'll take it to the C&C.

I think it would be nice to have a ladies only section. There are awesome men here who give great advise to the ladies but that can continue to happen on the women's discussion board. ;)

Exactly what I was thinking........anyway, if it wasn't women's only then we would just have another C&C....

Excellent point!

I'm 100% for this forum being dedicated to women only!

:laugh2:

Well at first I was torn with my decision.. I thought maybe we should let them in and if any BS take care of it right away..

But after reading some of our EF Females responses.. I agree it should be; the ladies section only.. We need our private time. :D

Let's try it this way first!

I think girl talk should be just for the girls. However the other womans forum should be open to the guys they give great training advice.

I vote for ladies only, too. It is nice to have one little corner to talk "girl talk" & not have to be shy/reserved about what we discuss.

25 votes....not a bad turnout.

I say no... I am new here, and I the first thing I posted... I had the first reply from a man.. and it was RUDE... I didnt appreciate that at all... I go into a womens forum for a reason... need I say more?

This vote is kinda old...I don't think they can right now, at least I haven't noticed guys in here. I think its' a great idea, another forum I was a mod on 2 yrs ago (that has since been shut down) had the women's only forum too and it was great. Sometimes guys are obnoxious. Other times, they mean well in trying to help, but don't understand the differences between their bodies and ours.
