It felt GOOOOOOD, too. I'm sore today...all over. I keep forgetting to mention that in my workout posts.

Jeff did this workout with me again, and he says it hurts.

:D no problem.

I'm enjoying the fact that my panda undies have made such an impact.

I think your next suit should be a Panda theme.....really!

GREAT ON THE LIFTING S.

even better news on the pbutter.....I always recommend a fat source for sustained energy as opposed to something chewy(carbs). Carbs are fine but they are SO quick to be used that they are basically useless(at least imo) for getting you through a hungry spell.

Good to see you here...don't be a stranger.

Thanks for the welcome.

yo, shadow. on the shoulder routine, you have machine press with wide grip listed twice. I'm guessing this is a typo.

I'm leaving for the gym in 10 minutes, so go to page 7 and check to make sure I'm reading it right, please. ;)

I love my gym. :rainbow: lol I know it makes me kinda :nerd: to say it, but I do.

There were a bunch of young, skinny teenagers in there tonight trying to impress each other on the bench press. L-O-L! It got out of hand - they were putting too many plates on the bar and I could see a train wreck coming. Jeff stepped in and scared the crap out of them. :D

He told them to drop the weight or get the hell out of the gym. "..but we were trying to do our max!" snivel-snivel. Jeff said "I think you've reached your max tonight. Put the plates away and get out." ...and they did. lololol

I'm glad he did it. Someone would have gotten hurt. They were loading 250 lbs on the bar and dropping it onto the chest of whoever was on the bench. holy :cow: . dumb.

:lmao: I like your hubby.
You don't know how many times I've wanted to tell people in the gym to just get the fuck out.
My tolerance can be quite low for stuff like that, especially if it's screwing with my concentration.

I bet they never screw around again like that.....so it was probably a good lesson for them.

I am a people watcher, I'd have a bitch of a time concentrating in a large gym. lol Hotties walking around, idiots squating on swiss balls, big guys thinking they are all that. It would be all to hilarious. :-p

at least not while we're there. lol

It was really dangerous. I know I can bench more than most of them that were there - and I can't really bench all that much. It was way too much weight with no warmup and no one who knew how to spot.

yep.....that should have been on there ONCE....I copied/pasted and changed the order and forgot to delete the other one.

That was cool of Jeff to step in like that, cuz like you said - one of them could have really hurt themselves.....

I want to work out with you guys sometime!!

we're fun. :)

Our workouts keep getting longer and longer because we spend the first and lat 1/2 hour visiting with friends. lol We're gym rats, so our social life basically revolves around our workouts.

I know I've talked about Evan before. I really like him. That's who we spend most of our time talking to at the gym. On Sunday, we're all going to see 300!

I LOVE gettign into the gymrat groove. It feels SOOO like home!

Its not "time in the gym" - its the foundation of my lifestyle and where my body is literally enjoying and living in what I'm doing in there. Its "in the zone". Its "the vibe". Its becoming one w/ your inner & outer strength and control, taking on "the iron"! And the discipline, self-humbling, self-confidence and self-respect that comes of it.

... *preach on sista!*

slept until 11:30 this morning. wow. both of us. Jeff got up and ate, then went back to bed until 3. We went to see "300" with Evan this afternoon. It was really, really good. One of the best I've seen, as far as effects and such. Lots of hot bodies in that movie. Abs as far as the eye can see. :D I was thinking that someone must have made a bulk steroid purchase to prepare for that movie. ;)

Also - I haven't weighed myself, but my body is normalizing. Abs are coming back. Not as pretty as they were, but they're there. (whew! I was worried. lolol)

You have nothing to worry about... (<-- what I want you to say to me over the next few weeks when you think I need it lol ) :) May have to go check out 300... but every time I sit through a movie that long I want to eat everything at the candy counter... that long = over an hour and a half lol, cant take me anywhere

you need to sneak in one of your meals, and buy a HUGE drink. I bought an uber large diet pepsi, drank 2/3 or it and then had to go really bad. lolol I held it until the end of the movie because it was so good. :D

gorgeous as always girl!!! Your arm definition is KILLER!

it comes back no matter how much you don't want it. lol Even after I got back on my diet, weight still came on. Water - I was dehydrated for a good amount of time and as Sass says - in an emergency situation, the bod trys to hold onto as much water as possible.

I feel SO MUCH better now that I did a week ago. I really felt like shit.

Your legs are still very lean...thats a great sign.

The pictures look really impressive......especially AFTER a contest.

TSO I am so glad you are feeling better. The pics are great. Not sure if the panties are helpin' keep your tush in or it's really 100% all tightening up by itself no fold over cheekage... I need to hit the incline later FOR SURE... you look great.

Reminds me of something my husband did one kids birthday party with a pinyata (sp?) that refused to break open, but he was in the backyard.

Adults loved it but it scared the hell out of the 5 year olds :FRlol:

Jeff has every tool under the sun and knows how to use them all. His methods might be a tad unorthodox, but he can fix anything. lol

I'm cleaning up the chainsaw aftermath right now. ;)

That's what mine is like. Owns everything, knows how to repair anything (almost instinctively, even), may be a bit unorthodox but always gets the job done and usually better than conventional methods.

changing subject because I have a funny to tell you all:

lolol

Jeff is installing a dog door. He ran into a problem of some kind using the sawzall (or however it's spelled) and went outside for a few. I hear the chain saw start up and he came inside and cut a hole in the wall with it. :D There's dust and smoke everywhere and it set the smoke alarms off. LOL!!

Chainsaw massacre in my house right now.

LOL We call that the "hillbilly method" of doing things......eh, may not be a photo finish, but it gits er done....

BTW - how's that BSN Lean dessert cinnamon roll taste?? Sounds good....

2 scoops with just enough water to make it like batter = 1.5 minutes in the nuker. comes out perfect.

You know I keep looking at your confidence & calm look in your avi and pretty much all the way thru your posing routine -- just like gymmum said - I'm sure you've felt a variety of shades of freak-out-ness over the course of this whole experience, but generally there's such a sense of calm, trust, dedication and focus throughout this whole evolution. Its really awesome and yes, I think you were built for the stage ;)

Ah! Was wondering cuz I tried it & didn't like it....blech! So I thought I overdid it.....

BTW - remembered this at my gym, thought it was cool so thought I'd mention it......Does your treadmill have a "speed interval" button? If so, before you start on it, push that & you enter the "jog" speed (ie 4.0mph) then it'll ask for run speed so you enter 7.2mph and the incline.....so when you want to alternate between run & walk or jog with the push of a button....I love that option!
