I guess I'm a DermaTherm Guinea Pig. :nerd:

Bottle is HEFTY. Made of the same stuff Anafit uses for YES, but 2 x as big. I shall slather my whole body with it tomorrow morning before cardio, and smell like Raspberries & ethanol. ;)

walked on the treadmill for 25 minutes because Jeff was doing cardio and I didn't have anything else to do. 3.0 mph inclined up to 15 and back down again.

Feeling good today. finally recovered from my vacation. lol It's not the vacation that tires me out - it's the driving. bleh. 5 hours to Prescott to pick up Mitchie the Kid, then 12 hours to Nevada. Doesn't get any shorter coming home.

the only thing worth mentioning about my treck through the wilderness is that I learned how hard it is to breath at high altitudes. We took a trail up a mountain to over 11,000 feet (GPS'd it) on the quads. My quad kept stalling every time I shifted into first because the air was so thin up there. holy moly. I got off the bike when we stopped and hiked out onto a cliff edge to check out the view. I thought I was going to die, ya'll. :D I consider myself to be in pretty good shape, but holy hell. I kept thinking about those people who climb Mount Everest (23,000 ft or something) and how the hell they managed.

I struggled all week with the altitude - even at 7-8,000 ft. It always felt like I wasn't getting enough air in my lungs. Mitchie the Kid didn't seem to notice, though. He told me I was old. lolol

ok, let's talk about DermaTherm. I hosed my entire bod with it this morning. Once I got it on, I smelled very strongly of cinnamon. the smell lingered all through my cardio. I don't know where I got raspberry from.

DermaTherm feels a lot like tingle tanning lotion. After you put it on, you get the 'pins and needles' feeling. It's not overpowering - I've used tanning lotion that's a lot worse. My skin got red for a few minutes and then it all went away. I didn't notice any extra sweating or anything like that while doing cardio. DermaTherm does leave a film on your skin that rubs off on clothing. Nothing severe, but noticeable when I changed clothes to go to the gym tonight. It came right off my shirt with a washcloth dipped in water.

DermaTherm is supposed to kill fat cells. I hope all of mine are dying a painful death as we speak. ;)

Hey Shorty,

Just as a tip to avoid excess rub off: The dose should be spread around quickly enough to cover the entire body. Is it covering you from neck to toe? Im guessing your at 7 pumps?

Yes - 7. You're so smart. ;) I'm getting it on pretty evenly- no streaking when my skin gets red.

I have some questions: Is it for pre-cardio, only - or should I be using it daily no matter what? Can it be used more than once a day (before AM cardio and before PM weights), or is that overkill?

It absorbs over a 24hr period, so once a day is best. Its not necessarily for pre-cardio and it doesn’t matter what time of the day you use it, just be sure to use it everyday and try to avoid showering for at least 6 hours after putting it on. So, if you usually shower right after your workouts, then just apply it then.

First time I used it, I'd showered the night before and got a slight tingle the next morning when applying.

Today, I showered first (and loofa'd ;) ), then applyed when I was dry. Big difference in how it feels. Where my skin is thin (inside of elbows) - the tingling was pretty intense, but the feeling went away in less than a minute.

DermaTherm, Day #2. Nothing new to report, other than that I tend to wipe off yellow sweat on my gym towel. I am experiencing some water retention. I can see it in my abs, especially. Any little change is pretty noticeable at this point with my BF being low. If I was at a higher BF, I probably wouldn't have noticed at all.

Not a matter of my liking it or not, it doesn't like me. While I don't have a full blown "allergic" reaction, I have intolerance problems. Consumed it causes a host of unpredictable inflammatory problems, internally and externally. Topically it causes both severe swelling and intense itching.

AM CARDIO - I wasn't scheduled for any, but I did 30 minutes on the eliptical. Heart rate around 125. Our gym has a big outdoor pool, so we packed a cooler full of diet pepsi and my meals and sat by the pool all day. It was nice to do nothing for a change.

We are resetting the nervous system this week.......I expect the workouts to be fun while you are ding them but also expect some nervous system bitchiness by the end of the week.....nervousness etc - maybe a bit of anxiety. That is to be expected....no worries.
 
I'm already experiencing some nervous system glitches - with legs after cardio.

Ok - so what are we setting me up for with this workout? (Re setting the nervous system for what?)

This type of workout is spread over a larger area of the body......


Remember how i always say that every day is kidney day??

This routine will remove a lot of the localized glitches as there is no ONE day where the focus is localized like it has been in the past.

It will train the nervous system to tolerate MORE stimulation(but on a larger scale than right now)....this will translate into fewer glitches when we go back to focused daily workouts.

I work out with a bunch of guys - so have no idea if my strength is high or not. They all lift heavier than me. ;)

It would be nice to work out with you once or twice. You should get transfered again! :D

I'm back down to 142 this morning, so feeling much better. I'll post pics in the morning. I'm pretty sure I've gained a few pounds of muscle. I didn't make a big drop in weight over the last couple of weeks, but I'm seeing veins I haven't seen before and my abs are around all day. ;)

Well --- I like what they are envisioning but they need to be consistent in judging for that then and make like they mean it. You don't see the pros looking like athletic women - they just look like guys. Then you add in the 20% softer shit and they just look squishy. The judges will need to make dramatic changes in their judging and be very consistent w/ going w/ the smaller girl who has longer, sleeker lines, less mass & thickness. And to do that you will need to get new blood in there - the same people have been in there for the last 10 yrs like the guy said - they need someone w/ a completely different body shape.

Another thing is that they have been applying those rules to the girls at the amateur level which is great, but then at the pro level these same girls can't compete w/ the existing pros because they are all the big old-schoolers. That's why the guy said the new pros are takign time off to gain mass - they say they want this new look but they never judge for it it so it would cost the new girls wins if they DIDN"T gain the mass.

And then the politics. That needs to go too.

I would LOVE to see this new look they talk about - but I see the competitions so regionally skewed - i.e. the politics of each state and area make it inconsistent across the board. You can even guess which bodytype will win by the different shows - e.g. the USAs vs the Nationals. If the state level organizations would pony up and stop being small-time in their views and be consistent across the board then you'd see some real improvement. But it needs to be tight, dramatic and consistent - meaning if you want to make the change in the sport, make it NOW - not piecemeal over the next several years because it won't happen. It will just cause more frustration among those competitors who are trying to make changes in their physiques to match what the judges tell them, and then they get screwed over in the target show.

what I also found stupid was that they complained about having the same women competing in the pro ranks over and over and that they wanted fresh blood. At the same time, they award very few pro cards at the national level compared to figure and men's bb.

I agree that the idea they're promoting is good - but will it happen? I don't think so.

Legs are light years ahead of where they were last time at 8 weeks out.

Your delt structure is ridiculous and the chest is coming up to par nicely.....back thickness is much improved......we need to add some width and just get the legs to contimue to improve.

On the butt thing....it's how it looks but not the reality...your hips are an inch smaller than the beginning of April stats.

Its 80% water retention - trust me

He says if I have made gains it would be impressive with Winstrol - stanozolol and Primobolan - methenolone - ...what do you thinK?

The safe choice would be to run the cycle of var first, then try the winny by itself as another cycle. You are a grown woman and know your body...so do what you feel is right, not what someone else thinks you should do.

If you have any feeback on Winstrol - stanozolol let me know.
Anavar has been a great experience no real sides...maybe oily skin. but good for me...only 1/2 calves thicker hair, and at the beggining...grrr I thought I was a lion...BUT I had other issues that may have made me as angy without it....so I can't blame the Anavar - oxandrolone - ...maybe the "bar" less...maybe I ned a drink!!! Party High... :p

The w i n n y makes my hair, nails, & skin dry. I'm shedding a little. When I first started taking it, it also made my voice sound a little rough, but that's gone away. Strength went way up when I added it in. I think it makes me a little pissy and short tempered at times.

"Making gains" doesn't always equal looking like Monica Brandt on Ms. Fitness Olympia day - it means more like you are going to get bulky and maybe bulkier than you wanted, as well as androgenic sides maybe you didnt' want. Just throwing in more chemicals is going to get you results maybe you didn't want. Look up anything and everything you think you are remotely interested in or just that you heard someone say before you even go asking about where to get some - there's information all over the internet - don't just ask people here - look it up yourself. If you want to play in the chemical world it is you and only you that has to live w/ the results AND the sides. No one else's responsibility but your own. Google whatever compound someone mentiones along w/ "profile", e.g. "primo profile". Also make sure you understand what it means 'half life' and 'detection time' - because these tell you how long it stays in your system if you don't like the sides.

Also never stack anything that you haven't run by itself at least once.
