They made claims on Oreileys show last night that FEMA has tried to enter..only to be greeting buy 100's of thugs with guns....and the pilots feared for their lives and left. People are trying to steal rescue boats...ambulances..and anything they can get their hands on..

He flew over NO the day after it happened. I would prefer the politicians would stay out of the area. Moving the President of the United States is a real pain in the ass. The Secret Service commandeers everything. Let's allow those rendering aid, tractor-trailers of food and water, National Guard and morticians unencumbered access to the tragedy.

Where do you pre-stage the resources? Would you have expected this much disarray in the populace? How do you get the resources to those that need it? The helos are using I-10 as an air ramp. I know it is difficult to watch, but it takes time for the logistics of such a large relief effort to work its way in. During Hurricane Ivan, the residents of Pensacola couldn't drive anywhere. Not a single block wasn't covered with storm debris and downed trees. So moving supplies in by truck is almost out of the question. That leaves heavy-lift aircraft. Closest place a C5-A can land is Baton Rouge, or maybe Meridian.

I understand, but they knew it was a category 4 in the gulf, so they could have at least loaded up 18 wheelers full of bottled water and food. They then could have started trucking them south into Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. When FEMA is leaving Dallas on Thursday afternoon, that is not good! I'm here in Dallas and we already have people from NO coming to Reunion Arena, so then these trucks should have left along time ago is all I'm sayin! We are here to help in Dallas, but dont have control over their response time
