Shibs' 3 Month Recomposition Log

I guess this is 2 weeks late, but whatever lol. Starting to log this as I'm just about to start my cycle.

The outline of my cycle looks a bit like this..

1-12 test-e 750mg/week
2-11 npp 300mg/week
6-12 proviron 50mg ed

I'll be doing a 3 way split.

legs/shoulders
chest/tri
back/bi

working out mon,tues,thurs,fri.

Might kick it up if I feel like I can work out more.

I took almost 3 months off and just started working out again a couple weeks ago. I lost a little strength and a lot of weight, but I'm excited to get it all back and then some. I'll post up some of my lifts later when I can remember lol.

Here's a link to my pictures from the first week. I'll post up new pics this weekend. I probably way around 175 in those pics.

Today was my first pin ever lol. I was so nervous I held the syringe with two hands as I put it in my leg. First pin in my right quad was clean and painless. Injected it fine but had to lay down afterwords lol. Second pin in my left quad was a bit painful, but injected smoothly. It bled a bit more too. Nothing significant though. And yeah, I had to lay down after that one too lol. Anyway, I'll make sure to update this tomorrow after I workout!

dude how old are you? look young like 18-19. Look lighter than 175 even. Not trying to be an ass... just saying. Does look like you have a decent foundation though compared to what some people look like when they jump on the juice...not what I'd say is ideal but not bad.

Thought the same and almost posted something simular, but if Needto sponsored, I must be wrong.
 
imho opinion that seems like overkill on gear for your size mate, not meaning to judge but I rekon youd grow really well with half that amount and half the sides, especially if youve gone stale for 3months and diet has slipped, once you get that dialed again and back into solid training youl be laughn! but each to their own, and if Needto sposored then .........

i see nothing wrong with you running a cycle... for 3 months off you are in good shape, and if you have been bigger in the past, muscle memory should serve you well...
i see many here and irl that are running much higher dosed cycles that arent in nearly as good shape as you... hope you are prepared for battle though my friend...
 
It's funny that all you guys have said that because when he first told me how much gear I was surprised myself. That's a shit ton for a first cycle and it even makes me nervous, not gonna lie lol. But I'm trusting need2. Yeah I'm about 175 there, at my peak I was about 195. Been training for the past 2-3 weeks and already regaining a lot of muscle and strength. Those pics are a few weeks old. Thank you all for the support, and I'll be updating this tomorrow after my workout. My quads are already sore as hell so deads are gonna suck tomorrow lol. And btw I'm 22, 5'11. What was even more scary was the original plan was 1000mg test deca every week. I'm kinda relieved it's only 750 now lol.

All in all I'm ready to kill that shit, I've got my mind set on winning this thing and I've already commited to giving it my all a month ago.

I think if you are nervous and unsure, it's better to be more conservative. I know this is a competition and we all want to win but don't let that cloud your own personal judgement. Only you can decide what's best for you. So just be careful and take what these guys into account when making decisions and monitor yourself closely.

On a more positive note...moya is right...get ready to battle!! ;)

Hey guys, deadifted today and it felt fucking great. Worked my way up to 365 for 4 reps :D I'm happy it's that high. It's not near my pb, but it's getting there. I'll post pics from today in about 30 minutes!

earlier post about being a first year college student, the fact he looks it, and the fact his base was questionable worry me.

Then the huge amount of gear and it being a first cycle (?) just makes this pretty insane. Def do not agree...

That being said your doing it now so just make sure you make the most of it, eat properly and eat tons. And train smart with lots of rest. Just out of curiosity whats your diet and training looking like? (in detail)

legs/shoulders day looks something like this..

Squat 5x5
Military press 4X8
Hip Sled 3x8
Seated shoulder press 3x8
Calf raises
Cable lateral raises 3x12
all this subject to change, i might add some more stuff in as i'm feeling it.

back/bi
DL 5x4-5
Pull ups 4x8
DB bent over row 4x8
Chest supported db rows 3x10
whatever for bis, i'm usually not too worried about them

chest/tris
Flat bench 5x5
Incline DB bench 4x8
Dips 3x8
maybe closed grip bench
and then rope pull downs 3x12

All these are subject to change.

My diet is usually something like this..

9am: 4eggs w/ bowl of oatmeal

12am: chicken breast on whole wheat buns w/ cheese and lettuce.
assorted veggies
+some bread or other kind of carb i can fit into my stomach

130pm: protein shake w/water (pre workout)

3pm post workout: waximaize shake with creatine

4pm: Some kind of meat (usually a sandwich) and baked potato or rice

7pm: chicken breast w/ veggies

For snacks after this I usually have natural oats w/ whole milk cereal style. and cottage cheese. not all at once, but whenever I feel I can eat a good amount.

+ I try to drink a lot of milk throughout the day. usually can get through a half gal every 1.5 days.

And one more thing, I'm reluctant on taking the full 750mg. I'm most likely not going to take it all, but to just keep it at 500mg. I think that's a lot. Now can I please log in piece?

yeah definitely, i think if anyone is gonna be cautious it's me. I'm definitely putting my health in front of all this.

They said originally pictures every 2 weeks. I haven't heard much from them though.

Training looks good, diet looks clean so thats also good. Only concern is amount of food. Do you have any idea of total cals and a rough macro nutrient breakdown?

Thanks man, and no not exactly. I know that it's more than what I'm burning because I have a hard time putting it all in my stomach lol. I could figure that out for you though and put that in here a bit later though.

Workout today was Legs/shoulders. felt great, squatted 245x6 which isn't that good. Squat is probably my weakest lift right now, but I squat beyond parallel.

Also, weighed in at 186lbs :D

I guess i should fill out some more info lol

the injection today went into my glute and it was painless and really smooth. I kinda sat there looking in the mirror for a second with the site of a syringe sticking out of my ass. it was kinda funny lol.

Oh and also I've noticed myself getting more vascular.

Today I hit chest and tris.

Benched 215x6 which is alright for me. I'm glad my maxes are getting back up to what they used to be. Had a great pump today also. Weight was just about the same, sitting around 185 right now.

Really he can nat build his foundation alot bigger and stronger then just jumping into using aas to do the work for him, i have seen many kids even back in highschool without juice build far more than this, whatever happend to people using for an aid ratjer then using for a last resort. Yes he is in great shape and i do not want to discourage him from training but you have no business w anabolics yet. hey man i know what you're thinking. but you have to understand that this is after almost 3 months from the gym, and this is a recomposition project. I've been training for years, and have plenty of experience. This competition came at the perfect time for me because it lets me start off at one of my weakest and smallest moments. again, this is a competition and i'm just using every resource available to me. I'm not happy to be smaller than i used to be, but i'm taking advantage of that fact right now to help me win this competition. I normally wouldn't start with the aas until i had put on some good weight, but like i said i'm here to win. And right now I'm sitting around 187lbs. Wait for my pics this Friday.

Once again, another guy who simply isnt ready to run gear.

If you're planning on running a cycle especially one with a ludicrous dose of 750 mg/wk for a relative novice, ask yourself a couple questions.

1. Have you not only plateaud but actually lost strength on major compound lifts such as squat, bench, deadlift.
-The reason for this question is that you have not truly pushed yourself to a relative maximum until you have not only plateuad but actually regressed from muscle overload.
2. Are you eating so much food that you are lethargic, but simply cant grow?
-If you're having trouble growing on your 2000 calorie diet, try 2500, trouble still? try 3000. Id go all the way up until 5000 before Id even consider juice. If you're an athlete with general conditioning training? 8000 calories... at a minimum.

Dont sell yourself short! The body is an amazing thing and can do some pretty remarkable things on its own. Whole foods, heavy lifts, and milk go a long way!

Figured since I had time, I would post up what I ate today and what I'll be eating later tonight.

9am: 5 eggs over easy + bowl of oatmeal

11:30am: 2 roastbeef sandwich on whole wheat sesame buns with veggies

3:30pm: chicken breast on wheat w/cheese and mayo + a slice of pizza and veggies

it's now 4:30pm. I'll probably have some natural oats and whole milk in about a half hour

Around 6 I'll go eat a nice sized dinner. I'm thinking hamburgers :D

Go workout around seven, take my protein shake before then my waximaize shake after.

Tonight Idk what i'll have, probably just a half gal of milk lol.

Today is my busiest day of the week, so my meals are a little more spaced out than what I would of liked.

My deadlift was great, but fuck i got some bad lower back pumps after my last set.

Also on this particular cycle you really really have to push yourself in the gym. To get the max from the cycle no more so so workouts. I know its easy for me to sit here and type this out but believe me, if you can find your trigger to get pissed, happy, horny whatever then do it and use it. Your bod is superhyper primed to build muscle in your case so you really need to pull out all the stops to take advantage of that.
Like I said, I know it is puke inducing hard fucking work, but now is your time brother!:evil::(:evil:

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days, I just started my new job and have been busy as hell trying to keep up with everything. I should be on track now though :)

Today I did legs/shoulders.

Started with squats
275x8
295x5
315x5
335x4
damn hard today.

Then onto military press
155x6
175x4
155x5
145x4
damn hard also lol

db shoulder press
50x8
55x6
45x7

Hamstring curls
can't really remember the weight that was on the weight stack but did 2 sets of 15

cable lateral raise
35x12
30x12
25x10

I was thinking of changing up this routine. I really want to start doing power cleans because those tear my traps up. I was also thinking of doing shrugs.. and another leg exercise. Legs/shoulders is my worst planned day though and I feel I need to improve it. Any suggestions?

Shib those numbers of sets are good ,once you get built up in the groove start going back down taking weight off and doing a 6 second negative for as many reps as you can dish out ,do this for as many sets you did going up ,you will be impressed with the results! :)

first time ever deadlifting 4 plates :D it was a workout unloading the damn weight after because i was so tired haha

I did a finisher on lat pulldowns.

Pull ups are getting increasingly difficult since I've gained so much weight so fast.

last set did a bunch of negatives.

before i go to the gym i'm always like "fuck i've gotta go to the gym" then afterward i'm like "fuck i can't wait to go to the gym tomorrow" lol

hey guys, just thought i'd write to you all. i feel like death today :(

i woke up, horrible painful cough, took a cold shower because i was so hot, then ate breakfast. while i was eating i felt really cold but i was sweating a lot. very feverish :( went to class and about died walking in the cold weather. over all my whole body aches. i very rarely get sick though so this is very frustrating. i'm sad to say i wont be working out today, sorry fellas :( if i feel better tomorrow, which i'm confident i will, i'll go hit the gym. like i said today is just the worst i've felt in a while.
