Sex offenders, what should the states do with them??

We are constantly hearing stories about convicted sex offenders striking again. Watch the show "To Catch a Predator" and you will see most of those guys have been convicted of some molestation or child porn possession.

There is no psychological proof that these people can be cured in prison, in fact, just the opposite.

I say a form of castration (depleting them of their only tool) would be sufficient.

They have a monthly shot that renders them impotent. In the past this as punishment has failed because they did not monitor well if the guy had gotten the shot each month. If they were to implement a program where the state supervises the shots, it may help. Sometimes, though, if they can't use their penis, they may still molest. It depends on whether the motivation is horniness or if it is domination and violence. IMO there are different types of molesters and rapists.

although i may agree with you in this, (i have a niece that was molested for 6 years she is now 19 by a step father)

Cut off their penises a chop it up. Fry it up with butter onions peppers with some garlic, white wine a touuuch of french dressing and serve it back to them over a bed of rice after starving them for a month. When the are done send them a video of the preparation of the fine quisine you just served them

I also think most statuatory rape cases should not be in the same bag as other rapes, molestations, etc.
You know, the ones where a 19 yr old and a 17 yr old have consentual sex, for example.

I agree w/ this.. if it's a couple years apart they shouldn't be in the same case as a 40 year old w/ a 6 year old
