First of all some questions.

I am a body builder, I could really care less about strength - though it is an added bonus, will this program help me acheive maximal growth?

Are the workouts supposed to be really intense - not too much is stated on duration of the workout?

In relation to the last question do you think it would be beneficial if I broke up the workouts into an am and pm session? Hitting chest and back in the same session might be too intense, though the sets that are to be done arent that bad looking.

Some exercises I dont agree with - take for instance decline dumbbell press - should I replace it with another lift like flat dumbbell press?

I'll be on anabolics soon, and I think they will compliment the program quite nicely.

Any input is appreciated...thanks!

Growth is all about the stimulus and you. I'll venture DFHT is better than 99.999% of what most guys are using. As to how it addresses your own specific needs, I can't answer but the answer certainly does not lie in one of the standard BBing 3 day split programs 1x per week you see running around. It's a matter of selecting the proper assistance work to drive core lifts and nailing down your tolerances for loading/deloading.

It has been a really long time since I looked at that program so I'll have to reread it and that's going to take some time as I'm busy as hell right now (I should be shot for posting on this board). I'm not a huge fan of all the assistance work but it's designed to appeal to BBers. It's gotten great results and a lot of people will run the Bill Starr 5x5 program in my thread (although I did not make that program) and then alternate back and forth to DFHT. Both produce very good gains - many magnitudes better (meaning they actually work without a lot of drugs) than some of the excuses for programs that run around EF.

You might do some reading on the Meso board or a search there: http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 as this is where the program came from.

As far as dual factor programs and anabolics this really complicates things for most people. Most guys don't have any type of training plan mapped out so they just use drugs over a random # of weeks based on the drug and their own preference. Well, a dual factor program has loading and deloading. And when you come off drugs you need to make sure you aren't loading or deloading after a heavy period of loading. Makes it a lot more complicated for people that aren't used to this stuff. Post #94 on this page might shed some light - http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=375215&page=5&pp=20 as does post #153 on this page: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=375215&page=8&pp=20
