Go into your edit options folder and cut them off. Seems a bunch of us had that feature reset unknowingly.

same here. It was just turned on all of a sudden even though it was turned off before. I also had some cookie probs where I had to keep logging in everytime I clicked on a thread of refreshed the page

Some Platinum Members, Sponsors, Admins, and Mods, need and want to see the ads, so now we give you an option to turn them on or off. Personally, I surf with them on, because I like to see what Google is going to show related to the thread topics and I like to make sure that our sponsors' ads are getting served correctly.

But, if you don't like them, it is easy to turn them off in your Member Control Panel.
To turn ads on or off, click on the dark blue "Profile" link at the top of this page and every page. Then in the "Control Panel," select the "Edit Options" link. At the bottom of that page you will see the Miscellaneous Options section and the On/Off button for Site-wide Advertisements.
