Serafem(sp) For PMS Symptoms Is Keeping My Wife From Having Orgasms Any Suggestions?

My wife has really bad pms symptoms so she takes Serafem(sp) but one of the sides it has it is prevents orgasm. I miss making my wife do that. And she feels bad me going down on her that long with no pay off. Is there any other medication that helps with pms but doesn't restrict orgasms?

Thanks.

Sarefem is actually just prozac with a fancy name. I read an article recently that stated that prozac's patent ran out and they ended up making the same stuff, but callin it something different and prescibing it for PMS symptoms instead. So it's just an antidepressant and being one who has tried all antidepressants, i know that SSRI meds totally deplete a sex drive and make it almost impossible for your body to respond to that type of stimuli. I have the hardest time having an orgasm now that i am on Zoloft, another antidepressant.

My suggestion is to have her switch to a med called Welbutrin. I was on it and had no sexual sides at all, it actually made me a horny little devil, but i personally had to stop taking it b/c it gave me a stomach ache. But who knows, she may respond differently. I have a friend who was on sarafem and hated it so much, she became a total bitch from hell and had no sexual desire at all...and i know when i was on Prozac (same as sarefem) that i was impossible to live with and couldn't have an orgasm to save my life. So my suggestion is to switch meds and to have her take more vitamins which i have found to really help me during PMS.
