I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm glad things are improving for you. Good luck to you and your wife. :)

I'm glad things are getting better, who knows, they may still improve even more.

I like to see these sorts of posts followed up, like you did. Could you tell us what your "treatment" was; drugs, duration, how long ago, etc. or if your numbers improved by just waiting it out.

Proviron has been shown to work! Read this!

Abstract refuting that Proviron is not highly suppressive

Here is the study I was referring to. Only 85 men out of 250 showed any suppression. Proviron did not shut down the HPTA in any of the subjects and that was at 150mg for 1 year. I would say its pretty safe and has very little effect on one's HPTA

This study shows no effect on normal LH and FSH with 100-150mg/ d mesterolone, and decrease of FSH/LH that were elevated.
Proviron doesn't substitute Clomid as hpta therapy, but doesn't get in the way, either.
The effect of mesterolone on sperm count, on serum follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, plasma testosterone and outcome in idiopathic oligospermic men.

Varma TR, Patel RH.

Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, St. George's Hospital Medical School London, U.K.

Two hundred fifty subfertile men with idiopathic oligospermia (count less than 20 million/ml) were treated with mesterolone (100-150 mg/day) for 12 months. Seminal analysis were assayed 3 times and serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) luteinizing hormone (LH) and plasma testosterone were assayed once before treatment and repeated at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months after the initiation of treatment. One hundred ten patients (44%) had normal serum FSH, LH and plasma testosterone, 85 patients (34%) had low serum FSH, LH and low plasma testosterone. One hundred seventy-five patients (70%) had moderate oligospermia (count 5 to less than 20 million/ml) and 75 patients (30%) had severe oligospermia (count less than 5 million/ml). Seventy-five moderately oligospermic patients showed significant improvement in the sperm density, total sperm count and motility following mesterolone therapy whereas only 12% showed improvement in the severe oligospermic group. Mesterolone had no depressing effect on low or normal serum FSH and LH levels but had depressing effect on 25% if the levels were elevated. There was no significant adverse effect on testosterone levels or on liver function. One hundred fifteen (46%) pregnancies resulted following the treatment, 9 of 115 (7.8%) aborted and 2 (1.7%) had ectopic pregnancy. Mesterolone was found to be more useful in patients with a sperm count ranging between 5 and 20 million/ml. Those with severe oligospermia (count less than 5 million) do not seem to benefit from this therapy.

I'm with Slobberknocker on this one. Glad to see all the improvement. Looks like you're on the right track even though it took a while to get there. Numbers are looking real good now as compared to before. The wife has to be relieved too I would think. Good luck with starting the family! Here's some karma....

bro i am in the same situation as you ,but i have even less sperm than you i am also 28 years old,the truth is that most probably none of these remedies will have any affect,i went to see 3 uroligists i explained to to them my history with steroids and all 3 of them agreed the only way to conceive, maybe, is ivf + icsi, they explained to me that once they do the biopsy and retrieve some sperm, that they can manipulate the sperm in many ways so ,that there would not be any problems, but the chances are if your wife is with no problemes, about 20 -to 40% depending on how many embryos they put into her, anyways the only things you should take are, vitamin e , vitamin c ,and beta -carotin all the rest is a waist of time and money, trust me i've been down that road, and it is not pleasant
good luck my friend

Animal proved fertility experts wrong, do a search over at www.animalkits.be and he explains how he did it.

Where did he do this?? He was just stating opinions on the subject!

This abstract proformed by doctors is directly related to our friends problem. We it definately work?? Maybe...maybe not. But according to the study it worked well for many.

140+ pregnancies....thats pretty fucking good!

Animal, although very knowledgable, has not proved anything. His opinions are backed by knowledge, but I would rather go with a study on 200 men!

Ok

Mostly just waited it out... I took some clomide from time to time but not real steady. I did take about 130 50mg clomide. I also gave some to my wife. She just got her test results back and her prolactin level was high it was 30 and its supose to be under 20.
I dont know how much that will effect her concieving. I'm staying pretty strong and I kept most of my muscle. I think after she gets pregnate and I get back on my strength will go through the roof just like the first time I took gear. I thought about taking HGH by its self. I have this book that says they have used HGH for a fertility drug with success. It speeds the production of cells (sperm cells) and I might gain some muscle. I think I will wait a few months to see if she gets pregnate. I got my cycle waiting for the good news!!!! I think It just take time to get it back up. If your test leveles dont come back up with in 7 months you might have to take really small doses of test. I told my Dr. that I have heavy cycled and he said that that is no big deal and it would take between 3 to 12 months to come back to normal.

I would wait to get back on gear after you hear your wife is pregnant. Not to be pessimistic or anything but my cousin just had her baby of 2wks die a few days ago....

Point is, there's always the unexpected that can come up and bite you in the ass

Good luck!
