Scots (or any other strong peeps) - ? on sleds

Ordered a sled and expect it this week. I need to buy a chain for it - any thoughts on what kind of length I should be shooting for?

Are you using it to pull with?

If so just get a tow rope from an auto-parts store. Will be cheaper than chain and you can use it for the harness on cars as well. You may already have one. Length is kind of up to you but long enough to keep the weight away from you if you fall and it continues to slide for a bit.
