Looks like he was drinking and driving when he crashed his car and it burst in flames.

Whos that?

was that party boy?

this is very sad!

Wootoom I hope you drive safely in your sports cars bro!

Apparently he was a jackass - everyone know that drinking and driving doesn't mix.
I have to admit though, I'm an ass myself.

"While taping a skit for Jackass: The Movie, Dunn was driving a golf cart with Johnny Knoxville as his passenger. The idea was that he would launch the golf cart over a sandtrap and into a plastic statue of a giant pig, and the statue would simply be crushed. However, the statue did not crush but instead forced the golf cart into the air and it landed upside down. Dunn was thrown from the cart, but Knoxville landed on his neck and the cart landed on top of him. He was knocked out for a while but was not seriously injured. They stopped filming the skit at that point. In the commentary for the movie, Bam noted Dunn's bad driving."

whats really sad about this is he took out his passenger by driving drunk...

hopefully they both died BEFORE the car caught on fire

Drunk driving always pisses me off. It pissese me off even more when really wealthy people do it. It's not as if they can't afford to call the nearest 4+ star hotel from the club, tell them to send a bellman in a cab over, have the bellman drive them and their car back to the hotel, check in, and sleep it off. If you've got deep pockets, it's spit in the ocean cost-wise...tip the bellman a 50 and your room is 250-500...that's PEANUTS to most of these celebs that get busted for impaired driving. I just don't get why they chance it and attempt to drive home.

I have never understood WHY anyone would take control of any vehicle after ANY amount of drinks. It just seems out of bounds to me. And I'm no saint... I've made plenty of mistakes in life but NEVER have driven any car, golf cart, truck, bulldozer, or ridden any motorcycle, bicycle, skateboard, scooter, or piloted any plane nor sailed any boat, after so much alcohol as a dose of childrens' Ny Quil! It just doesn't occur to me that doing so would in any way be OK.

The bad part is, that so often, the drunkard is not the one to suffer the pain and/or death in the accident.

I'm sorry for his family, and for his friends, and I hope he realizes that his last blessing was that he didn't kill anyone else. And I shame him for setting an example like this for his fans; mainly young kids.

Just for the record, I haven't read the official news on this yet, so I'm basing all my statements on what other people are saying here and on other forums this morning, being accurate.

ya, except from what I understand from the news reports..he did kill someone else

As someone who once crashed a new truck into a telephone pole at 88 mph with a BAL of .31, most drunks do not realize they cannot drive. I was so drunk, I was hallucinating.

In this case, it also appears that speed was a factor. To be honest, until they release his autopsy reports, no one will know if he was drunk or just had a couple of drinks at dinner with his friends.

For all anyone knows, he was being a dick with his Porsche, hit 100 and missed a turn.

I'm guessing most of the people here have drank and drove at some point. Then they say dumb shit like they don't feel sorry for the guy instead of just payin their repect

"im not that drunk, i got this, ill just drive extra careful, shit i have driven drunk a billion times before its no big deal i still drive better than most women"

anyways, he always seemeed like a douche, like 2nd biggest jerk compared to bam who i hate

still, RIP

speak for yourself sir.

"I think i'm okay, nah I didn't drink that much" is not an excuse in court. If a drunk kills your parents, would you buy that excuse? I think not.

Not only here, but it astounds me how many of my friends have confessed to it. And I mean intelligent people with advanced degrees, high military security clearances, police & fire personnel, and others including doctors, lawyers, oilmen/women, and HIGHLY successful and accomplished people with A LOT to lose, besides the possibility of having to lose freedom or limb, and/or live with the guilt of killing innocent bystanders.

Repeating; I just don't understand it.

About the people here; I would think that it might be even easier to see the dangers, and to use the willpower. After all, I doubt if there's ANY successful bodybuilder in the world, who does not have any self-discipline.

i'm a really good drunk driver. i'm probably more dangerous on the road when i don't drink because i'm more spaced out or not prone to pay attention.

i avoid it when i can, but sometimes you can't.

I didn't speak for anyone else....sir. and I never said drunk driving was acceptable but a lot of people do it at some point and then say douche bag shit when the dude diese

what would be an instance where you couldn't avoid it?

I didn't really believe the last part of what I said. you could always avoid it by not drinking. But there's sometimes where you don't really expect you're going to have a few drinks (i.e. you meet someone out for dinner and they say "lets go have a drink/go out"), and you've already locked yourself into your transportation situation. of course there's been times where i really *have* been shitfaced and i leave my car there and take a cab there and back in the morning. Or just crash at a friend's house nearby.

In Miami, it's very easy especially. The rule is "don't be the worst driver on the road". In Miami, that's REALLY easy to do. There's usually somebody with their lights off, speeding, swerving, not using turn signals, and running red lights or stop signs within viewing distance at all times.

even if you end up drinking when you didn't plan to there is always a cab you could call.

That's what i just said.

But it's not always realistic to do that. Sometimes you can't leave your car there overnight, not to mention you have to cab it home and then cab it back to pick up your car later.

It's usually not really a problem anyways. I always intentionally live close to where the action is so i don't have to worry about that stuff. Either walking distance or short cab ride.

I used to drink and drive all the time when i was younger and stupid after DJing places...then I learned how stupid it was and wised up, now i hate anyone that drinks and drives.

One drink can relax me. Any more than 2 and I think it is not good for me to be driving. That is pretty much how the law works though anyway. I haven't really Drank while driving since I have had a GF, when I was single I was out of hand with my drinking and I would drive sometimes while drinking. Not the smartest thing, but I suspect a lot of other people have done these things when they were depressed a little. I have never had any issues at all by the way. I used to leave my car at the bar if I felt too drunk to drive. Unfortunately my friends were not able to handle their booze as many of them racked up DWI's and accidents.

Either way...drinking and driving....it sucks he is dead...RIP..everyone makes mistakes...his cost him and his friend his life...sucks.
