i am looking for diet information for those people that

any help would be appreciated!

yes please do... I'd love to get as much information as
possible on nutrition and running marathons... its quite
different than that of a bodybuilder!

Thanks

Carbo loading...

would be the key phrase, but why would you switch, all of the sudden, from getting buffed to running marathons????
I used to be a runner, competitive in my 20's, but not anymore, ran New York '95. Basically, you just have to eat right like any other sport, protein is still part of the equation, only this time with an emphasis on what we runners call: CARBO-LOADING. Running as you might expect is very demanding and places a lot of stress on the body, particularly the legs' joints, start right by building up a solid BASE on endurance by mean of long distances increased gradually. Do not save money on running shoes, a good pair is a must. Stretch a lot helps you loosen up after your runnings. For more info. try this excellent website:

Good luck
