Yeah really... ugh. NOT worth the risk. You never know if someone has something (they may not even know if they haven't been tested recently, and certain STDs, like HPV aren't testable in men and can't be detected unless there are visible symptoms, which not everyone develops).

(the Epididymitis was VERY PAINFUL )

That's really unfortunate...I guess when something like that occurs, though, it's hard to react rationally and it's easy to forget that the error may be on the doc's part.
