Never felt a thing on leg day, squats and box squats and burned it out on hypers.. I did feel straining while doing situps. 4 days later the quad tightend up and would not let got, rom went to hell and the internal bleeding started. Both sides of my leg are black. I couldn't take the pain any longer and got some pain meds and muscle relaxants. I mainly use them before bed to stop the throbbing. It's day 10 and getting better, I'll get an MRI just to make sure it's ok so I don't finish it off when coming back. I have plenty to do on calves and arms to keep me busy, so I decided to get some dieting out of the way and bulk again.
Lessons learned:
1) I put on a bit of mass very quick. It killed my ROM (tightness).. keep stretched.
2) Get to the Dr. quick, these things will take some meds. It's a very large muscle and very large pain. Muscle relaxants will let the healing take place quicker.
