I dont see how eating a few rice cakes is going to have your body signaling to store fat if your in a calorie deficit or maintence.
I just dont understancd how this could possibly happen. As far as rice cakes being good carbs, their are better choices but depending on when you consume them and if your dieting or not i dont see how a few will hurt you.
The caramal, apple cinnamon and peanut butter ones are damn good too. I also used them when refeeding.
