Tre... my left half of my ass was kinda nagging me during my squatting yesterday.. and when it was time to bench I decided to do that Sitting Piriformis Stretch and I can't believe how instantaneously the discomfort went away. I continued to do it between sets and it just felt better and better.

Both members of Red² have had such a positive impact on my diet and training its incredible:) Thank you ladies.

I still get some left rear muffin top pain lately that the piriformis stretch doesn't seem to target as it is definitely back, not hip pain, if you have a suggestion please pm or hit up my log.

Enjoy your trip... as if its possible not to have fun out there.

AHHHHHHH I am here.... SO BUSY

Should I make a list of what I have been up too or I'm sure you all can guess...

1) Travel
2) Conference
3) cleaning up after painters (house painted this past weekend)
4) working out and cardioooooooo
5) Interviewing for career change
6) Accepting new position at local gym
7) Another interview at physical therapy place this a.m. go through second round tomorrow and 3rd round next week.
-- If take that position I will start beginning of April

So what does all of that mean... ;) By April I may no longer be a systems engineer, and finally made my career switch to personal training and massage therapy full-time

That is why I have been so busy!

Both positions are WAY better then I could I have imagined! It still allows me to teach at the school here and there as well!

So fingers crossed next set of interviews everything works out well. I had the owner cracking up this morning and wasn't even trying... I'm just that funny... I'm sooooo kidding LOL

So this will take care of 2 more goals of the year if this all pans out, and achieved 1 goal this past weekend. Working on 5 other's currently beyond any of this.

Still no pictures from photo shoot, and still working on getting my 2 or 3 Arnold pictures uploaded. I'll try and squeeze that in as well at some point.
I'm teaching all weekend at the school.

Kabeetz.... try a QL (Quadratus Lomborum) stretch i'll post one in your log in a bit. I think like most people you have a dominant and a weaker side. Just a suggestion but maybe try uni-lateral work. OR really focus on firing both sides equally. It's best if you can have someone watch you and see small changes you may not even see in the mirror. Like how you switch your weight between both sides of the body as you squat. As I learned this past weekend.... it could be a central nervous firing route that is messed up. You are firing muscles in the wrong sequence because you have trained your brain that that is right. Try and drop to no weight and see if you can feel a subtle difference and focus on balancing the weight and distributing it evenly.

I would bet you seventy eight billion million dollars you hit the nail on the head. My entire left side is smaller than my right, my left hand has a fraction of the coordination of my right and when I was a real young kid my left foot pointed a couple degrees inward when I walked and I had to wear some really ugly corrective shoes (I dunno if that makes a difference).

O.k. this is a scrub post since... yeah work caught onto my back way of getting onto elite.. so no more at work loggin.
SO I have to get my log here posted up in the evenings now.

I'm doing GREAT though!
I can't believe I feel outstanding and I know I have just over 8 weeks to go, but it doesn't even feel like I am dieting right now and I have been dieting for 6 weeks!
Weight is dropping, body fat is falling... don't have accurate's but my pants are falling off. Almost called SBT up so she could bring me a different pair of pants up to my work. Since I had an interview and my thong kept hanging out the tops.

So second interview went great and I will find out next week if I get the third one but everyone seems to think I got the job at the place. So maybe only 2 weeks left as a Systems Engineer YEAH!!!!

Anyway getting ready to hit the gym and put a close to the day with some posing practice!

Worked at school all weekend.
Interview on Friday went really well. So hopefully I get a call here in the next few days for the 3rd and final interview. I spoke with some of the staff since last physical therapy appointment was on Friday afternoon and they told me they heard great reviews and they all want me there so we’ll see ;)
So this could be the week I put my 2 week notice in.
I have a lot of students from the school who want to work with me and family members who they want me to work with so hopefully in no time I’ll have a full schedule and no worries at both the gym and clinic. I’m also upping clients at the house to kick start things. Working on getting brochures made and new business cards.

No I’m not really stressed. I think I’ve carried this load before and I know I’ll be fine.

Oh and you can see I found another backdoor method to get onto this site LOL

LOL Well instead I just opened my wardrobe up and put my dress 2's on this a.m. that I haven't been able to wear for I don't even remember when! I think they are really a size 4... Labels are silly.

Third interview this morning I was 10 minutes late because I could not find the building!!!
Anyway interview went awesome. Never had an interviewer give me a hug goodbye before so that was new. He pretty much said my first interviewer would contact me when he got back from Tahoe, and said that I am going to be a great fit. So once that happens pretty much I’ll be giving 2 week notice here. I will only start part-time till I pack my schedule then get full-time. So hopefully that happens fast!
I can’t believe they pay for everything. They are paying to get me a top of the line hydraulic table, all silk sheets, all my lotions, continuing education, anything I need to be great he said. I’m excited.

I Have been super busy. obviously in the midst of switching careers, opening up a business, writing up client plans, trying to keep house straight, bills paid, and of course dieting down for competitions.
I never seem to diet down with ease.. always have to go for the most stressful things. Last year it was my mother on her death bed, working 2 jobs, and going to school and now all of this. It does keep my mind off of food and so not worried about me. I started this diet down with the intent of helping other's and I am still doing that. Actually more so now. I'm working one on one with quite a few people helping them achieve their goals whatever they may be. One lady I have helped drop 90 pounds and we have another 100 to go. I have 2 figure competitor's, and 3 beginner's to working out. Not counting massage clients. That's all I'm taking on until my schedule is finalized.
I have been having issues getting onto Elite from work and if I can get on I go to post (hopefully this will post) before I get the warning that this site has provocative attire, blah blah blah kicked off. Next few weeks my log is going to be hit and miss. Once I can 'kinda' settle things down I can log more.. hopefully from Home ;)
I'm also slammed hard here at work lately as to another reason I haven't had time to work my way around little 'glitches' of getting on EF. Trying not to let my boss know I'm working another job, opening a business, and waiting for official word from physical therapy clinic as to when they would like me to start. So I'm just trying to get through each day and not focusing so much on the stress's. Though I think my dreams becoming more vivid are mirrors of what's going on in my life.

On the picture, measures, etc. front I have not had time. I know I have dropped body fat although my scale weight has not moved much. I was 156 this morning. I started out roughly 165 almost 8 weeks ago. So I have only lost 9 pounds, but my measure has been my clothes and they are falling off. For instance my jeans I have on I could barely get on, today I should have a belt on as they are sitting low on the saddle and I keep having to pull them up.
I'm really not so focused on the number game this year. I'm enjoying what's happening in my life and really not concerned with it. My diet is manageable I'm not hungry, my weights at the gym are still the same. Only things I notice more is stiffness which I have been ma rolling when I can get time between clients and stretching out really well.

As of this morning I'm just drinking some blueberry coffee enjoying my last minute here typing before the race begins again today.

I will get to my regular scheduled program here as soon as I can. In the meantime... Like Bunny said... you all can post up as well. The site has only slowed because there are to many lurkers and not enough loggers. EF doesn't pay my day job I do this not only for me but for all of you. Lately more so for you as I really have grown past the fine art of logging but still want to help other's. If you miss somebody not posting... post in their log like Hidin did in mine that you miss reading it. Maybe a few have logged for so long it seems monotonous to keep going when it seems like nobody is following. Sometimes the logger needs to know their log is making a difference. It's nice to get karma messages but why not put nice things in the person's log for all to read as well. Maybe some newb will pop in and see it and say,"Well this must be a good place to start this log is helping other's." It's a circle of life my friend's.
O.k. back to work...
I'll be logging more soon enough :heart:

I truly admire you, for having the courage to make the changes you are in career, while still helping others. And your advice & encouragement here has been very helpful to many.

Today BUSY
LOL go figure

I'm sore, sore, sore, and uhmm did I say sore?!??!
Legs are toasted from monday.
The leg day is like:
Leg press supersetted with walking lunges up and down an incline
Romanian DL's
SLDL's on smith
Weighted step up's
Seated calf raises super setted with donkey raises

Also I will admit it..... I have tried spinning again twice.. and although I'm not 'nutzzzz' about it... My butt actually did not hurt. So thinking it was a difference in bike and seats as to why first time I tried it killed the bootay and stuff for 3 days. Sooo felt like I got off from riding a bumpy horse for a week straight.
Soo been hitting up some spinning and step classes for a fun switch up.

Tonight is no weights just training client's.

Have no pictures I will soon. Body fat soon as well.
I can tell bf has to be dropping! Hunger is through the roof this week so far.
So adding in some cardio breeze now. Also added in the yohimburn lotion this week now that my BF is lower. In comparison to last diet down from here forward was when body fat started dropping faster. We will see... I'm thinking so since hunger is up and period has left the building already. Crazy mine goes away at around 20% or so.
I think my body likes to maintain about a 19-21% body fat for some reason.
Who knows. Anyway...
Off to a meeting wanted to drop in.

Seated calf raises super setted with donkey raises I think that would do it yes... :) do you see any issues with subbing Gm's for sldl if one, say, could not hold onto heavy weight and left it HANG, or PULL it?

Well I'm not T but I think you could definately do the good mornings if you couldn't hold onto heavy weight, and we do actually have them in the plan they just fall on a different day :) ANd the spin bikes have come a LONG way since the ones even when I started the class a year ago and the seats aren't too bad nowadays... You could always come here and take a class or two... I know a DANGGGGGGGG good instructor :evil:

Thanks girl! I just never had bruises like that before it was hilarious :) I would totally come there and take you up on that offer ... if I can get days off work and NOT travel on days surrounding any big school events/tests ... learned my lesson on THAT one... :D

Lulu, :rose: I totally agree yet see where T is coming from, been there.

Sometimes it's easier and more motivating when others SHOW an interest in what you are doing instead of just not saying anything... and there are a few that still do, and it's totally appreciated and encouraged... yet

IMO this forum has changed, and some of the privacy and support we all had for one another has diminished ... it affected my log posting for sure

Leap into what I have been asking for. Just downed protein shake and hitting the body to get some stress out, and then a spin class a bit later :evil:

I got official word of acception as a Massage Therapist this morning and accepted. Talk about a bit nerve wracking. I have taken 3 hours putting a schedule together. I have erased, rewritten, blotted out.... till I arrived at the following:

As a massage therapist:
Mon 10-4, Tues and thursday 8-12 and 4 to 8, plus saturday's I'm not working at the school 10-4. (I start part-time work to full time in a few weeks)

Power house gym:
6-10 Mon and wed, and 4-10 Friday

Teaching at the school:
Saturday only 9 to 5

Weight work-outs:
mon and wed 4:30, tues and thurs 12:30 or 8:30p, Fri 3:00

Cardio work-out's:
7:30 or 8 a.m.

Once I hit 32 hours at the massage place I am coming to the sad conclusion that I may not be able to teach any more. Depending on how I feel and everything will determine that. I'm striving to not kill myself working. Leaving space open to write new plans, keep up with my own life, get my own business going, and RELAX. So I have that all built in as well. I will not work or exercise on a sunday any more unless I extremely need too. That is a full rest day.

SOOOooo that is where I stand today...
I am closing a chapter and opening anew. It's what I have been working towards for almost 10 years' and it's the next step I must take to opening my own spa/company. I have alreay a few massage modalities I am coming up with. I told SBT last night I want to be a genius, LOL... SO random. I will have a massage modality named after me... I think I have the one once I patent it ;)

O.k. Off to the gym Thank you all for being here in my log I appreciate all of you!!!

P.S. NO I did not forget competitions either time is built in for that as well :FRlol:

So far going great!! My Lady called in and told me her weigh in 101 pounds down!!! WHOWHOO it’s so great to celebrate with people!!

Been feeling a bit tired lately… Haven’t been sleeping a whole lot.. I know counterproductive to what’s going on… I need sleep to recover. Probably why I’ve been so stiff. Still have some nose issue going on… I’m chalking that up to allergies. Had a triple redline yesterday before duck’s spin class and I was just totally zonked. It didn’t even affect me. Just kinda went through the motions. Needless to say I haven’t had time to stress over leaving my Engineer job LOL

Today I’m just working on paragraphs to put up on the webpage today. Then hitting chest and tri’s in a bit followed up with my cardio. Then I’m over at the Physical Therapy clinic and I’m all booked tonight so at least I’ll be busy!

Mood was stable today. No weird stupid moments that happened earlier in the week.
Like picking up 35 lb dumbbells looking in the mirror, sitting them back down thinking I’m an idiot I grabbed a 35 and a 53… DUH mirror…
Or getting on the tread with weight lifting gloves for warm up. SBT was like “Whoa killer slow down”. I was just like,”Dude you gotta watch those hand rails there deadly!”
So silly stuff.

I did 3 massages today, and received one, and trained 3 clients’.
Overall the day went really well!
