ok folks - here is the question...I love to eat red meat..I mean anything beef...and I notice that when I do not eat red meat, I get weaker. Also, I like to eat eggs (the whole egg) not the freaking whites.

Now, I do not eat fried, or candy, or anything "bad" but I am a sucker for dairy, and red meat.

So tell me..is that ok? I seem to retain water..and get bloated..I can never see my abs when I am eating red meat..

Is this ok?/ Is red meat ok?..someone help me understand..

Red meat has higher fat content (normally), increased creatine, and sodium....Dairy is normally VERY calorie dense and also higher in fat content and carbs (depending on what type of dairy). Those are some of the reasons.

I eat steak a couple times a week, but normally around lifting.

I eat lean ground beef the night before training.
I drink 1/2 gallon of skim milk daily.
Good or bad, that's what I do.

Red meat can make you feel bloated if you eat alot of it. It tends to digest much slower than anything else. Personally, I could eat steak every day and night and often do.

so the bloated feeling...i mean..if I wanted to lean up..then are we for it or not?

red meat contains creatine and zinc.....both aid in strength.

macro-nutrient profile is roughly 40% protein 60% fat... excellent for bulking.

if you wanna lean up eat poultry and fish.

btw whole eggs have been demonized but are fine if you don't overdo
and the lactose in milk will bloat you. ( milk is a great muscle builder)

Buy lean cuts of steak and see if you have the same problem.

Bloat isn't fat though. I'm sure you can cut up with lean cuts of steak
