I am looking at a red light product by Kineon.
It has 3 red lights on a strap. Says you can strap it on and have an isolated area treated. For pain.
I am looking at it for my knees, elbows, shoulders etc….

Any have experience with this?

@Slyderkt it might work not sure really but i've been using an infrared lamp and it works
you have a picture of it?

light therapy on humans is a real thing. i mean we can see light and colors.

painting your room blue vs. red has been found to be more relaxing and people have actually slept better. having said that do i think light therapy can heal an injury? no. if it did pro athletes would be doing it .. you know what pro athletes do? they stretch stretch stretch and work on mobility. go to sporting event 2-3 hours prior. they are on the field warming up, stretching, etc. go to a practice, they spend MORE TIME working on mobility and stretching then they do actually practicing. why? because it helps prevent injuries!

weight lifters are too macho to do any of that beta shit though. yoga? its for betas right? except the top athlets in the world do yoga. why? cause it works and prolong their careers. you have 320 pound nose tackles in the NFL who can do splits. if your mobility and flexibility sucks of course your joints are gonna get wrecked weightlifting. its cause they dry out and when that happens things start to tear, then inflammation comes in. etc. maintenance is crucial. i didn't think of this stuff in my 30's and ended up with lots of injuries and had to catch up. now i make sure i warm up and dynamic stretch before EVERY WORKOUT and stretch AFTER. i don't care if the braindead meatheads at my gym look at me and think i'm a pussy for doing it. weightlifters think they just have to show up and lift and thats it. no you need maintenance on your body just like any other sport

you're gonna have to rest an injury like that in your joints

I don't think that you should waste money on a lamp that's pretty dumb Aaron Rodgers crap

Thanks for all the input.
I did not list my opinion cause I wanted y’all’s first.
I was thinking it might help some but not as much as advertised. And not sure it is worth that expense.
I was thinking it would work more like a warmer heating pad.
I have not got into this red light therapy.
Now I am seeing green light stuff.
Yes yoga is great and I agree with that.
I say I am in gym 2 hours a day. Then I hear some say that is too long.
I warm up and usually hot tub or dry sauna after.
I am not a new sports car anymore.
I am an old truck with a big motor. I have to warm it up before racing then do a lot of maintenance after words.

great example is my knee last week.
I hurt something on back side.
Spent a week walking funny. Lots of ice, heat, massage and stretching. Luckily nothing torn. The next week I lifted legs accordingly. Was ready to skip the day if needed. All went good. More of same this week and next week should be solid.
All that said it was caused by not stretching enough prior. I was in hurry and jumped in cold. My own fault.

Yes I have to train differently cause of my age.. I ease into a lot of things. Gives my body a chance to tell me how it feels that day.
Thanks for all the opinions.
