State laws are wacky. It is still illegal in some states to perform oral or anal sex even in the privacy of your own home between married people. Gotta love our gov't officials.

Yeah. In TN, it is still illegal to have sex in any position except the missionary one. Think about all the people breaking the law each and every single day. lol. I'd love to see a cop try to explain that arrest warrant to a judge.

Yep, whenever Maj and I break that law, we snicker about it...then count on our hands all the (stupid) laws we've broken that day!

Pamela, it's funny you mention the blue laws.....I live in Delaware & we just got the law passed that we can have liquor stores open on Sunday......it was such a big deal to pass the laws.....I-95 runs thru DE but thru the upper short part so a trip to MD on Sunday would be maybe an hour drive total including shopping time & crowds....so MD was getting all DE's liquor tax money so the lawmakers wanted to keep it & have the stores open Sundays.....when it was trying to pass all these people came out of the woodwork saying how terrible it would be to sell liquor on Sundays & by the way NO stores should be open on Sundays anyway & wante the laws changed to Nothing being open on Sundays......oh yeah with today's working families that's practical! Anyway it eventually passed so stores are open on average 12-6 on Sundays but I still can't get out of the habit of stocking up on Fridays & get all excited that Liquor World isn't packed on Fridays......

I was looking thru the City of Wilmington city code to see if I could do a project to my house & found this:

Sec. 36-96. "B" girls.

(a) It shall be unlawful for any woman to frequent or loiter in any tavern, cabaret or night club for the purpose of soliciting men to purchase drinks.

(b) It shall likewise be unlawful for the proprietor or operator of any such establishment to allow the presence in such establishment of any woman who violates the provisions of subsection (a) of this section.

(Code 1968, § 39-6)


No asking a man to buy you a drink!! I guess they'd better offer first!!

To my knowledge, we don't. But then again, I didn't know about the missionary position law until just recently either. So who knows?
