Raisins!

I eat oatmeal 3-4 times a day and I add cinamon and splenda to it to make it taste better. It tastes about 100x times better when I add a handful of raisins to it. Is this too evil? I just finished my cutting cycle and am extremely weary of anything that will make me fat while I'm bulking. Raisins are high G.I.. although I don't think its tooo bad if its in oatmeal. .. .Thoughts? :chomp:
 
I experimented with that this week. I was wondering the same thing. I wouldn't do it though. How much splenda are you putting in your oatmeal? I got this weird splenda that measures just like sugar...despite the fact that splenda is 600 times sweeter.
 
I used to love raisins in oats ... they add more substance to it. That was when I was eating rolled oats. Have switched to steel cut oats and find that it tastes much better and now I just add cinnamon (and at times nutmeg) to it. I think raisins combined with oats in one sitting is a bit heavy on the carb side of things.
