r-ala/ala & urine smell

Weird topic, but I've taken regular ALA and r-ala (from BAC) each for extended periods of time.

The ALA made my urine smell really bad. Not that I was close even, but the act of taking a whiz made a multi-foot radius of the toilet smell a bit skunky.

the R-ala from BAC, i have been using it for about 1.5 months, have only had the same smell occur twice, and nowhere near as strong as the same odor from regular ALA.

Any idea what the deal is?

Weird i have been getting a smell like that also , i have been taking mike's brand....

Are you taking regular ala or r-ala? even with very small doses, the reg. ala made my whiz smell like a skunk for probably 2-3hrs after i had taken it.

excretion of sulphur metabolites.

if you have strong smelling urine, you are using racemate. It should not occur with R+.

the reason for this is that with racemate you get greater excretion of the first stage metabolite (which is a sulfhydral) of both isomers

May want to email the owner about that... ask him to get an analysis or something. If he cares, seems like i've heard people say he's a good guy, he may be concerned with what he's selling.

thanks for explaining that Macro hehe i thought the lack of the funky pee from switching to R-Ala from ALA meant it wasn't working
