Quick - got injured today, what to do?

I know what I do now will greatly affect my recovery time.

I was doing flat bench when I started feeling a twinge in my right pec. I went easy the rest of the day and adjusted my grip, so it didn't hurt very much. I was an idiot, should have stopped.

right now my right pec is hurting a bit. I tried to stretch it out, but it just hurts more. I am already on an NSAID for an unrelated muscle strain. I am taking 1g protein/kg of body weight. I am already taking 3g of MSM.

My plan is to skip lifting tommorow + this weekend, and if it feels ok, start next week again but skip chest that week.

What is your advice? I am going to go ice right now.
 
If it's still bothering you by Monday, go to the doc. But even if it isn't, I'd still stay completely off it for at least a week. That means no chest or shoulders.

guys, I am seriously losing my will to work out

I havent been doing legs since july beecause of a muscle strain that is turning chronic on me

I have arthritis in one of my clavicle-shoulder joints for some reason (and I am 22) that makes doing shoulder stuff difficult

Now this happens!!!

God, this sucks. I do the exact same workout my partner does, arm up the same, etc. But I always fucking get injured!!

I am halfway thinking of giving up on this shit. I mean why go through thsi cycle of lifting -> getting injured -> feeling like crap for 2 weeks coz I can't lift

why not just stop!!!
