If anyone has been on Norplant I have some questions I would like to ask you can pm me or post here whatever, I was on it and have to find some things out.

I thought alot of people sued that company because it messed them up. or something? Isnt that the thing that goes in your arm?

Oh i was on the patch, and I ate 24/7, for a whole month well 3 weeks, i was on it for irregular bleeding, but I chose NOT to go back on it because i would rather bleed 2 weeks out of the month than eat like a cow and look like one

I don't trust that freaking patch. No way do I believe it will stay on all the time.

I want the Copper IUD (non-hormonal) but will wait until I have had a child. Considering we are talking about trying for a little one early next year, seems quite pointless to get it now, then have it taken out in less than a year.

Yeah Daisy it makes me nervous too.. with all the showering & sweating .. I don't feel good about that thing staying on. Though, they say they've tested all that..

It would be nicer than that dang pill everyday.

I still don't believe it. I swear nothing sticks to my skin.

And true dat...it sucks the times you are laying all snuggled in bed half asleep THEN remembering you didn't take your pill. Even though it is only a few feet away, I am all cranky I have to get up.

lol, I know, I hate that. I'm all tucked in and cozy.. and then I remember. And then I need to go get water too, or else it gets stuck.

Well I took it for 3 weeks, first week it went on my butt second week it went on my hip and 3rd week it went on my other hip. It didnt come off but danggggg i wanted to eat all the time, and i didnt get pregnant..well i didnt have that much sex either lol.....but id rather have irregular bleeding than eat like a fattening hog. I guess like after 2 days after taking it off, my eating went back to normal.
It also made me irritable...could be another reason for the lack of sex anyway, yeah it was ortho evra , yeah gaining weight is a trade off.......so the refill package is still in my bathroom closet currentlyunused

My sister in law had norplant and loved it...until it was time to take it out. Her skin had grown around the parts and it had to be pretty much ripped out of her skin. Soooo she has these scares from it. You can also see it in her arm....
