I've been using creatine for a few months now. The biggest thing I notice with it is that it seems to help with recovery. I ran out for a few days, and I immediately got really sore all over. I usually get DOMS really bad, I'm just the type of person that gets sore after every workout, which means I'm sore all the time. The creatine helps me a lot with that. Try it for a while and then stop taking it for a few days. You'll know if it's been helping you at all when you stop taking it.
Now glutamine on the other hand is a different story, for me anyway. I don't see it doing anything for me.
