I have never used creatine but accidentally got it today when I went to pick up some protein mix. I'm going to get the protein mix tomorrow but was wondering what is the difference and how many of you all use it.
If I understand it correctly, Creatine moves some of the water from your body & into your muscles which helps you get a better pump at the gym while working out....
Creatine is essentially a "cell volumizer" -- allows you to hold more water in your muscles, allowing longer time for them to "build". But they can cause bloat, etc. And creatine has nothign to do w/ protein mix. Just to clarify.
I've used it but not a lot and not enough to know if it made a difference.
If you do chose to use it be be wary of your dosage. I can not remember how much I took when I tried it out, but it made me incredibly bloated! Definitely not the look I was going for!
That is great that the new ones do not cause bloating, it was not fun!

I would also be interested to know if any of you use it and if you have seen positive results from it. You always hear guys say how great it is. I don't think I have ever heard a woman rave about creatine. curiouser and curiouser. . .
If I use it I think I will just use it when I know I'm doing my upper body lifting. God knows my legs are big enough as is. LOL I tried it last night and it was just ok not great but not horriable either. I mixed it with water I'm thinking if I use the water from my pitcher from the fridge it would be better.
