Question: The BEST cycle for keeping gains

I've spent the past few days pouring over the search engine recommendaitons on this site....and found some good threads...but mostly just "stuff"...my question is this:

Take into account continued, hard, honest training and eating properly....if one was to go on a cycle, proper pct, and only wanted to do maybe 1 or 2 cycles per year...what would be a great recommended cycle to absolutely hold onto whatever gains you made...once your off!!!

I suggest you read as many AAS profiles as you can find, decide what compounds you think would suite your goals, set up a projected cycle, and then ask people to critique your cycle. I've found that people are more willing to help straighten out your cycle then set up the whole cycle for you.

I have only run a few compounds, (Test E, Sustanon, DBol, Eq, Tren, Winny)but if run w/ proper pct I would recommend:

EQ/Test or EQ/Test/Winny.

I seem to keep alot of what I gain w/ Eq and Winnny. Tren is my favorite AAS, but alot of people can't handle the sides, only side I got from Tren was excessive sweating. I don't have experience w/ alot of compounds as you can see but that's what worked for me. I'm going to try Anavar soon and I hear it gives very keepable gains as well.

There are alot of guy's here who may be able to give better advice, but as I said that's what worked for me, and I won't give advice on a compound I haven't run personally. Good Luck!!

Actually, I've already got my first Cycle planned....

I've been reading a LOT..... however, I'm just interested to know what others have done...KEEPING as much muscle when off the juice (post cycle)....

Another question, then...is do you, or should you, cycle again after xxx months to keep those gains?

Again, I've got my first cycle planned...just trying to learn what others have done to keep the beef.

I think a lot of keeping the gains I make on cycle has to do with my pct, diet, and training off cycle. If this is your first cycle, I would hope you have researched your pct more than anything. I hope you have all that stuff before you start your cycle. To answer your second question, of course, some people never cycle off steroids and run them year round. As far as your primary concern of keeping your gains I would run hcg through out your cycle and then two weeks before you start your pct. A-dex and Nolv should be a part of your pct also.

(In other words, what 90% of the people on this board do not do).

What do you mean by short?

IMHO, it all comes down to proper PCT.
 
the problem with pct is there seems to be no correct answer on what to use,,, everyone's opinions seem to be different on every forum, site, etc.
 
Since Nelson chimed in (I wasn't going to mention it)...I'm actually going to follow a cycle he suggested...along with PCT .....

I have read on this forum, however, that guys start getting soft or strength loss, etc...in the gym....if they stay off for too long. I was hoping to gain some modest size, maybe with a couple of short 6 week cycles per year.....and not sweat having to do another because my already ROCKIN' training will keep me there....

See what I mean? I've read GOOD STUFF about the HCG, but have read that it's not necessary to run during cycle....just POST.

I'll have it ALL on hand before I begin! (Theoretically, of course).....

I'm one of the people that doesn't do it the way Nelson says. At least not yet. I have a feeling that the percentage of gains kept will be higher his way. However
that might not be the same as saying that the total amount of gains kept will be the highest his way. That all depends on how great gains can be achieved either way. That the short cycles are safer in the long run i have no doubt. I think that i might try out Nelsons "neverending cycle" theory one day but not yet.

As to what coumpound delivers the highest quality gains (most keepable) i'd have to say primo in my experience. U'll gain less but keep more. I've never tried
hgh tho or igf1 or insulin so i'm speaking from a frame of reference limited to aas.
 
Nice one Jimboy took the words right out of my mouth If I had the oppertunity I would do something along the lines of Prop,EQ and winstrol. I have had a very positive response to this cycle. If you don't mind going up a little slower in terms of size you will find you should build a more leaner harder look without bloating. When you come off I would recomend HCG/Clomed. Through eating clean and training hard right the way through I have held at least 80% of my gains from this cycle.

So my plan was primo, (I was thinking of sustanon vs. test - enathate...thoughts on that??? ), arimidex throughout and 2 weeks after...and HCG as post therapy....see where that takes me.

And though it's my "first" cycle....I'm afriad due to the incredibly "clandestine" popularity of AAS..... Nelson's cycle REALLY appeals to me...researching the compounds seems to me to be a moderate gain, safe bet.

I just don't plan on having needles in my ass on a continual basis....and depending on how vain it really does make me ( and i don't think I am...I'm just feeling OLD and WEAK and that my genetics are helping me get better as I get older....it's getting hARDER, and we're not talking about my dick either....Deca? Jeez, I don't need it to give me THAT problem!!! Getting old sucks! Thank the gods for VIAGRA! (which poses another question...will that drug help during dec-a-dick?

SO, from the OTC supps I've used, it has helped greatly....I've read a lot of positive stuff about Nelsons supp line...whcih I will include.... Hey, if it works....

The best OTC supps i've used, that I've actually seen results from? Forza-T, INFERNO, INTENSITY and RECOVERY by Instone (they are going DOWN by the way...slowly ceasing production....) , SURGE (pre-post recovery), METABOLIC DRIVE (meal repl) and my whole food DIET from Berardi's "Biotest"..... Everything else I've tried is crap....nothing has a better benefit for ME than quality whole foods, proper diet and hard work...protien shakes are a treat for me...not the staple of my diet!

I'd like to take my Kettlebells and traditional lifts to the next level. I eat (good, lots and extremely little to NO crap) and have posted my gains over the past 2 years...really...I've gotten very stong, lost about 30lbs of FAT, and have the genetic TIRE around my waist that I've invested 20 years in building up...it just does NOT want to leave me!!!

Anyway, if I like this first cycle, I may experiment with something else for "just a little more"....but again, I don't want to loose what I put on...... or try something that turns on the jackass...that i know is hiding in me somewhere!!!
