question regarding sprinting, yes, another one

i've posted this question in my training journal thread, but i guess i'm not important enough for people to look at it :bawling: lol..

anyways, i tried sprinting today, and i feel great. i can breathe easier and everything. my only concern is that since i'll be sprinting, wouldnt i be creating a caloric deficit? so that would hinder mass gains, no?
 
You will have to eat to accomodate your increased AMR that day, yes. Are you parents still starving you? LOL
 
lol, i'm not starved...yet. i always find a way to get enough food. venison is the best. but i think i may have to get a job or something soon. thatd be scary.
 
yeah i found myself feeling starved last night, even though i was eating a 50g/protein meal every 2-3 hours.

my obliques, inner thighs and inside front calves are sore. good stuff
 
I dont think you have to eat too many carbs. Dont carb load or any thing because youre sprinting and not distance running. Eat regual r amounts like 250-300 grams. And sprinting is not as much cardio as you think it is.
 
i hadnt sprinted in over a year, and i weighed about 50 pounds less the last time i did em. needless to say, i was out of breath the whole time. i could definately feel every rapid heartbeat for about half an hour. that's cardio enough for me
