Question on making fina

I read the instructions...what i wonder is. yes, the oil is sterile but the pellets are not, right? I don't see any steps to ensure that the final product is sterile which just makes me a bit nervous. Or does the alcohol solution take care of that part?

Bake it in the oven at 250 degrees for 45 minutes if you very worried about it.

The dissolving solution dissolves the pellets. The sterile part comes when running the product through the whatman filter. It is easy. I've used it before and loved it! I highly recommend it. Just make sure to use sterile techniques (wash hands, don't touch needles, etc.) and you'll be fine.

I don't think the pellets come with the kit. That would just be too good to be true if they did come with the kit.

Correct me if I am wrong.

The pellets dont come with it. You buy those seperatly.

FELLA'S, the whatman filter does NOT sterilize the solution. The BA is what sterilizes the solution. The filter's only job is to keep the larger particles out of the sterile oil.

Also, you can get the dvd from finafarm. I have it and it's well worth the $20 for the peace of mind you get.

And, there is no need to bake the final solution. I have mixed several batches without baking and have never had anything less then beautiful golden sterile tren.
