Question on Abs

Sup guys. I need a new ab routine. The one I have now sucks. I'm not that big, and I have no real chance of getting big, so I'm going for a routine that will give me a cut look. I have no problem with my level of bodyfat, I'm a runner and I do a lot of cardio. Thanks.

Another question, after I do ab exercises I get really bad headaches. Is that normal? I'm just wondering, since I need my head so someday I can become collegesucksalot. Anyway, thanks.

Are you breathing or holding your breath?

Getting cut is about diet, but, of course, you also need to have muscle to SEE under the fat. So a nice new ab building routine, and the right diet to reveal them, will get you where you're going.

If you're diet is working, then what do you mean by "I need that cut look?"

"That cut look" is a result of low body fat, which is a result of diet.

Any ab routine should be customized to fit your core strength level. If you don't train abs as much as it is, then I would stick to weighted swiss ball crunches, hanging leg lifts, swiss ball leg lifts, and something for obliques. There are more intense exercises out there but you need a great deal of strength before you can do them.

Remember to contract as hard as you can on each rep. My favorite rep range for abs is 5-15 reps, I change it up often. If you can do more 15 reps then add more weight or resistance however you can. Whatever you do, don't cheat. Isolate your abs.

Abs grow really slow so don't get frustrated by them. If you work them as hard as possible for like 2-3 months with a good diet then they will become visible.

Oh yeah, remember to breathe.
