Question for all of the Personal Trainers

Wanted to respond for the SE FL area -- within a gym (e.g. World or Gold's) the trainers have to be associated with the gym and they charge a rate that is generally $50-60 / hour. They tell they do personal sessions (home) for up to $90 (rich people in Boca).

I worked with a personal trainer in his own gym and he charged a volume rate of $30-35/hr if you pay by the month.

Warlobo.....we like being skanks...lol...

or at least us groupies do.....

hmm....my trainer....charged me $350 for initial 6 wks....that's for diet, workout program, cardio program, bf check every two weeks...and minimum of 1 hr session per week with him....now that said....we actually get in anywhere from 2-4 1-hr sessions a week and he doesn't charge me any extra....his gym schedule and my work schedule don't mesh very well at the moment....so we meet when we can and i go it on my own the rest of the time....but he has gone thru the whole routine with me and i know form, how it should feel and wts, reps, sets to shoot for and we talk by phone a lot....and he leaves me any changes in routines at the gym... but he sees how much i'm putting into it and enjoys training me...and he is advising me on "supplementation" too....awesome results after almost 4 wks...i'll be posting pics soon or links to pics....

after the initial 6 wks...all other 6 wk intervals are less expensive....

i'm in it for the long haul as i want to do a show next fall....
