Good luck on actually finding a physician with an open mind. If you can, you can try and locate a sports medicine specialist who has worked with professional or top-end collegiate athletes. If you do find one, their level of open-mindedness is often directly proportional to how open you are with your bank account.

ANother thing, i find docs at university or college clinics tend to be a lil more open minded....

This is funny. I was just thinking about this topic and a thread about how to find the perfect doc while "on." I have an ob/gyn that is obviously not experienced or knowledgeable(sp?) about AS at all. I go back tomorrow. I was actually thinking about posing a couple of ques. That's if I can get him to stand still!! There has to be someway to feel comfortable about asking?!? Torchy
