question about weather,myth?? about cals

i heard that when its cold,cold cold your body burns more calories to stay warm? so that means i should take more calories??? hmm winter time best time to cutt than :P :P :P no cardio needed:P :P
 
While its true the difference is negligible. Generally our bodies use insulation to keep warm (fat) and the heat is generated as an off shoot of our metabolism making energy ect..., Our bodies do more to release heat I.e. sweat, slow down (making you lethargic) than they do to produce heat, (shivering, brown fat burning).
 
cold weather is detrimental to bodybuilders because you sweat less and your body is stressed from fighting against the weather- this is catabolic-most people bulk in winter so that during summer they will be cutting and looking good in the warm weather
 
Theres multiple types of fat. Brown fats main purpose is the ability to disipitate energy as heat
