Question about sugar

K I'm bulking up and going for 4500-5000 calories per day and one thing I eat enough of us brown rice and canned beans mixed together, is there anything wrong with mixing a lot of brown sugar and maple syrup in there with it, as long as a brush my teeth right after of course?

Thanks

Brown sugar will be comprised of sucrose, glucose and fructose. One teaspoon (5 grams) will contain 4.3 grams of sugar, of which sucrose will account for nearly 4.1 grams.

When you consume sucrose, it is broken down into glucose and fructose. But because it has to be broken down first, the energy source (glucose) will not be readily available. You will place your body in a phase where it will start storing fats as a result.

The same has to be said for maple syrup. It is primarily sucrose which you will be ingesting.

You may have nice, white teeth, but your BFP (body fat percentage) will likely get out of control if this becomes a staple of your normal nutritional intake. If you are going to bulk, try and keep it as clean as possible as this will make it much easier for you later on when you begin a cutting cycle.
