Question about size

how much longer does the season last? over the course of 3/4 year or whatever, i'm sure your body could get used to a little more weight
 
well Indoor ends mid feb., and outdoor starts Mar 1 and ends late May, I'm not worried about speed, just pounding on my knees
 
i'm sure your knees would get gradually accustomed to the weight. i'm not really qualified to answer this though
 
i was 112 and bulked up to about 160. What I noticed was my body adapted...my calves got ALOT bigger just from gaining weight, I never worked them. I feel like my knees got stronger too. I'm faster now than when i was 112, I don't run track though. I'm not attributing the speed to the weight gain...just showing you that it doesn't HAVE to interfere
 
well I don't know how heavy he is/was, and runners world only counts you as heavy, if your weight to height ratio is high, so maybe being tall will help me
