question about chest

I would like some of your routines. I think mine is not doing very well. I would like to buil my upper chest. my lower is pretty nice but the upper just isnt growing....

bench: 4 sets 6-12 reps
incline db press: 4 sets 6-12 reps
incline db flyes: 4 sets 10-15 reps
cable flyes: 3 sets 10-15 reps
 
Too many sets my friend. Try something for me next time you are in the gym. For some reason this particular routine did not work for me for chest but did for legs, shoulders and back.

Go in and do only 9 sets for your chest, i suggest...

3 bench press
3 incline barbell press
3 incline dumbell press

4 to 6 reps as much as you could lift for 6 reps and no more for each movement. Try that next time but try to rest about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes between sets. You'll be surprised but make sure you go heavy enough so you can't exceed 6 reps. So you'll probably be lifting more than usual poundage.
 
dbell fly 3 sets by 12-15 (get the blood really in their)

do them slow and contolled nothing but chest.


incline dbells heavy 1 set by 15 1 set by 10 1 set by 8( pyramid)


cablel flys bent over 1 set by 15 2 sets by 10.


1-2 sets of dips to failure.......instant chest!
