i found this video today and was wondering what do y'all think about lifting so heavy for a taller-skinny set person. And would the 5x5 program produce good results with how they are saying?(doing higher rep ranges)

Curious because i will be starting this tomorrow and im 6/4 200lbs pretty &lanky

...well i cant post the video yet i just found out. Basically they are saying if your tall and skinny your gonna snap some shit up on a 5x5 program lifting that heavy

if you want to watch the video on youtube...its the hodgetwins .."stronglifts 5x5 program"

First off bro dont listen to hodgetwins.. They don't know shit. They don't have much progress at all for the amount of time theyve been lifting.. 5X5 is fine for strength gains if that is what you are looking for. If you leave the ego at the door and start off with light weight like you are supposed to do with the program and progress from there with perfect form you will not have a injury.
