I believe the phrase "force of nature" may be applicable to each EF member attending.

Darn shame I can't drive my truck cuz then I'd have to wear my flannel shirt and my holy jeans with the skoal can wear marks on the back pocket.

All that talk and not once is there ever a mention of lubricant, just an occasional reference to a strap. It boggles the mind. ;)

:FRlol: I wish it did!
I've been drinking diet for so long (when I have one) that drinking a regular coke would probably taste pancake syrup.

I'm NOT even asking about the jerks, cleans, snatches, lubricant, ollies, Qtr Lb-ers with cheese, Evil Knievel, etc...

Nope.........ain't doin' it.... :verygood:

Gosh I sure hope that's right. pssst....I get to meet you tomorrow. ;)

I'm cornfused now because mother nature arrived while I was at work today. She was due next week but of course she had to tag along on my weekend adventure. When she arrives she brings extra weight with her *scratches head* which, is why I'm cornfused.

Que - I think you tricked her! Which means you're doing somethin' right! AWESOME!!!!! :twirl:

I dunno if you read my reply about the skirt steak.

I asked my Dad and he said that he always would get it at a Mexican store. It comes pre cut and pre seasoned with spices and in I donno what kind of sauce but I can tell you that its so delicious!! I also think that your can get it at a regular grocery store but Im not 100% sure. Just ask for skirt steak and there ya go.

P.s. Teriyaki flavor with it is to die for :p

I will ask the guy at the meat counter next time I'm in the store. I went grocery shopping this evening and forgot to look for the skirt steak.

^^^^^^^
Safe journey, Que-dizzle and I can't wait to meet ya in all your glory. Do you have your whips out for your favorite Mer-person? ;)

See ya soon!!

I walked out of the hotel lobby to find a flat tire on the rental car. :finger:

Went back in & called roadside assistance: "Sorry ma'am it'll be an hour before someone can get out there to put your spare tire on, then you'll need to drive to our nearest location to exchange the vehicle." :finger:

I changed the tire myself & took a chunk outta my right palm. :finger:

Drove to the closest rental location - Detroit Metro airport.

They gave me a PT Cruiser & around noon I was finally on the road home.

That PT Cruiser rode sooooooooo unbelieveably rough. My lower back is actually throbbing. I even stopped to re-adjust the seat because I thought that might help. It didn't, I felt every bump, lump, dip, divot, crack & hole those tires went over.

Where's the "Nelms Ninja Taxi" when you need it?

I'm just not meant to travel. :sulk: I'm grabbing the heatin pad and hittin the bed. :worried:

 I'll post tomorrow about all the wonderful people that I was blessed enough to have met this weekend.

Urrggggg! Sorry to hear about that, Que! Why didn't you let us know?!?!?!?! You know Nelms and his...... "DO YOU WANT ME TO HANDLE THAT" line that he likes to throw out there lol - Glad you made it home in one piece.......

Sorry about that Que! I really really enjoyed chatting with ya! You are a special person and I am glad I got to know ya better!!

That totally bites Q ... Couldn't happen to a better person .. seriously ... Glad you are home safe though :)

The trip to and from was aweful due to rain, traffic, flat tire but it was more than worth it - the good outweighed the bad a million times over and even if I knew the same stuff would happen I'd do it again. If you ever have an opportunity to attend one of these shows - do it. Things become so much clearer.

Flat tire=upper body workout - gotta be creative with my exercise now. I've changed so many tires that this was no big deal, it was just annoying. :p

I have to say that everyone I met is so much more beautiful in person. They are all so tiny, even with all that muscle! ....and just for clarification: They look "healthy tiny" and not "sickly tiny."

Treilin - is just stunning, picures just do not do her justice, they really don't. After following her log and watching the show - lots of pieces of the puzzle fell into place for me and I have a newfound respect for figure, fitness & bodybuilding competitors. Bunny & Nelmsjr were right there to answer all my questions about the competitors during pre-judging & then the show.........why this, how come that.......thank you both very very much. :bigkiss:

Ducki - well you know she was flexin those perfect calves of hers.........

Scorp - she had the guns loaded and the food packed........and don't let her kid ya, she's solid as a rock.

Diva-Roo - she should be in the fashion industry - if anyone needs fashion advice of any nature or need a personal clothes shopper - - go see the Diva, you will look fabulous! Trust me on this!

Bunny - she's so much taller in person. :lmao: I just love those shoulders of hers! I also have to give props to Bunny's driving skills for owning Nelmsjr on the way to the club. :garza: :rose:

IP & Nelmsjr - they love and adore each other so much that it just oozes from them. They seem to be each other's missing puzzle piece. :qt: If seeing those 2 together doesn't give you warm fuzzies you need to have your warm fuzzy maker checked cuz it's broken.

I have to say that Nelmsjr has some mad driving skills and I hereby nominate him to do all the driving at any get-together(s) that he attends! (You're welcome Ninjaman ;) )

Gymgurl - I sat next to her at dinner and we just chat chat chat chat chatted & she was crackin me up! We could get into so much trouble if we lived closer to each other.

 Mermaid & P - Where do I even start...........she's so beautiful and her voice is so soothing and "P" seems to be the nicest guy, he's also funny and watching he & nelms in their driver/navigator mode is hilarious! They are just the nicest people and I wish I could just sit and talk to them for a few hours....... You 2 will always have a special place in my heart. :rose:  :rose:

Meeting the people who inspire me and keep me going, watching Treilin's comp and just being with people who have taught me, yelled at me, etc etc. was worth every minute and I feel so honored to have been there.

Joining EF really has changed my life in ways that I can't explain, and all of you have been such a huge part of that.

I met people who didn't ask "are those steroids?" when I pulled out the supps - because they were pulling theirs out too!

People who didn't fuss about the fact that I pack my food or that I eat tuna.

People who were teaching me new things instead of me re-explaining what 40/30/30 means.

That was such a nice change and somehow was just so energizing for me.

There's so many things going through my mind in regard to the weekend.........I wouldn't trade this experience for anything and I just can't seem to find the words that I need in order to convey my feelings.......

 To everyone who made it possible for me to be there - from the depths of all that I am thank you very very very much .

Sounds like a FUN FUN weekend, despite the difficulties.....I love hearing how everyone is in person, etc......I think I understand the feelings you are feeling - I felt that way after Saturday too.....no one to complain about the tuna or eggs, no weird looks about the baggie of supps -- it's like a big family!!

Glad you're home & back with us!!

Awww thanks for the props Que... you were all over those calf compliments all weekend and they were much appreciated :rose: Nice to finally have nmet you, don't ever lose that great personality and sense of humor!!!

LOL Just got a good visual of this :wavey:

How are you feeling my fellow lovely redhead ? :)

How has the food intake been?
Wanted to see the punkin  but they aren't home..........so I mowed the yard.

I'm feelin a little wonky today, sinuses are acting up and my back still hurts from that POS car I drove home. (I sent an email to Chrysler and to the rental company.)

So far my food intake is too low for the day cuz I forgot my food & all my supps this morning. :worried:

Hoping to get back on track tomorrow.

I see per your log that you stubbed your toe or cut your foot somehow.........my toe starts bleeding if I put shoes on, even with a bandaid over it.....fuggin hurts too. Get ya foot better so you can do those stairs! :rose:

Morning GG!!

Thursday - woke up to a power outage at 5:30am. The local lumber yard a few blocks over is on fire. Yep, I said lumber yard. That place has been there since the dawn of time cuz I remember going there as a kid.

Per the news one of the firefighters was overcome with the intense heat that can be felt for blocks, I hope he/she is ok and I hope noone else gets hurt by the blaze.

Took a shower & got ready for work in the dark, ashes from the fire are falling and my car is covered with them. So is the house and everything else.
(insert Flor's dancing chicken screaming the sky is falling the sky is falling - because it is.)

Good thing I cooked my eggs last nite.

"T3 the lawn mowing goddess!" :bigkiss:

Well I finished the hedge trimming and pulled the weeds by hand cuz I couldn't take the weedeater in the flower beds. Trimmed the roses, cleaned up all the mess and now I need to run to wallyworld cuz I'm almost outta shampoo.

I should prolly eat somethin.

Yep, right off the spoon. Nasty chit. The diet threads always refer to "good fat like flax oil......" before bed but they don't really suggest how to take it. So I just do it, try not to gag & chase it with water.

So why eat tuna??? eat egg whites, or they have different packets you can but (chicken, shrimp, crab) you don't have to limit yourself to tuna!

Right now meals 2 & 4 have egg whites, meal 3 is tuna & meal 5 is chicken. I have to wait till payday to do any grocery shopping so I'm stuck with tuna for now.

Well as long as I pass the background check & the drug test
I'll be considered a part-time Wal-Mart In-Stock Associate for job #2. I'll stock shelves, lift stuff, etc. etc.

On the app in the place where it asks "positions applying for" I put "anything except cashier." :lmao:

The guy asked if I would consider a cashier position, I said "No I will not, however, I will stock shelves, unload trucks or mop floors but I do NOT want to be a cashier - ever. You cannot stick me in one spot for 8 hours - I'll go nuts."

He actually laughed and said "I guess you know what you want....."

:garza: I get the Punkin  for an hour or two tonite - just waiting on her to get here so I can slather her with grammy-luvin! :bigkiss: :garza:
