Got tennis elbow from over doing it with the push ups, think it was my bad form though that did it, i had a normal hand position but my elbows would flare out past my shoulders which im guessin is why i got the elbow pain, should i start doing push ups with my elbows tucked at a 45 degree angle or does this still put a huge strain on the elbows?
 
Your hands should be at a 45 degree angle with your body, and you should be tucking your elbows in.
