Im wondering about talking protein in the form of shakes and meals etc vs taking amino acids and then letting the body do the conversion. Is there any difference in the results of the two ?
Protein powders are much more economical (and easier to get large quantities of protein from...) Have you ever tried swallowing 40 tabs of amino acids? (and tabs dont digest very well to boot...)
Just to clirify.. if I'm not mistaken.. aminos are already in the broken down form. Drinking whey or protein, your body has to extract and breakdown the protein into aminos causing more work (but not much). I believe that is the case anyway.
