Protein packed breakfast without eggs?

BenchBoss

New member
Eggs are really starting to get old, but they'er full of good protein so I eat them for breakfast anyway. But still, they get old! :p

So I'm looking for protein packed alternatives to eggs for breakfast. ANYTHING as long as it's not eggs! :D

Thanks.

Eggs are obviously one of the best sources of protein so I'd keep having them for breakfast maybe just switch up how you prepare them or add a few things (hot sauce, salsa, spinach, onions, mushrooms...)

I often have a cup of oatmeal (made with water) that I microwave up with a handful of blueberries and a little cinnamon. By the times it's done the blueberries are basically liquid so it's just a matter of mixing everything - i make it the night before so it has the chance to cool down (I enjoy it more that way)

Steak, turkey sausage, ham, smoothie, oats n protein, cottage cheese n fruit, greek yougart. Egg tortilla wrap, cereal w/a scoop of protein, scoop of protein omlette aka "the dylan"omlette. Gotta go outside the box sometimes...

oatmeal mixed w/ protein poweder

french toast with ham/sausage - light bread, egg whites, lowfat ham or sausage

greek yogurt w/ protein powder

I do all of these. I got kinda burnt on egg whites as well. I like the greek yogurt with vanilla protein but I also do the yogurt with cucumber, dill, feta and diced grilled chicken. And the Special K Protein Plus has almost 30g of Pro in 2 cups if u like to have cereal now and then.

Sent from my htc t-bolt using the elitefitness app.

I would try the 0% Greek yogurt plain and then add fruit for flavor. You can also mix the Greek with cottage cheese 0%.

Special K Protein cereal w/ Skim milk. About 1 cup of the cereal w/ 1 cup of milk would be about 21 grams of protein.

One of my favorites that is full of protein and only trace amounts of carbs and fat is to take about a cup of plain Greek yogurt and mix in 1-1.5 scoops of protein powder. Tastes awesome and you are looking at 60-70g of protein depending on the powder you use

One other fave (off season):

Cottage cheese
Oatmeal
Cinnamon
Stevia
Egg white
Dash of salt
Blueberries if desired
Whey protein if desired

Mix it all together to a thick pancake batter consistency

Pour into a pan

Cook like a pancake

Yum

This is like Cutie's suggestion but as winter rolls around.. I've been upping that calories/carbs and always looking for clean & tasty ways to do so:
- 8 eggs (only two yolks)
-1 - 1.5 cups oats
- cinnamon
- blueberries
-scoop of protein for flavor if desired
Cook in a nonstick pan as pancakes or one large serving
I flip half of the cake over on top of its self as it cooks till cooked through
- Scoop of choco whey in a small cup and keep adding water till its a pudding like consistency.. pour over the "pancake"
Then I always finish it off with a dust of PB2 (peanut butter powder).. Tastes fantastic & a solid way to get those extra cals in

Tortilla with serving of cheese, smothered in cooked onions and mushrooms. Nuke for 30 secs. I make a killer breakfast lasagna but that has eggs in it. Sorry. Cereal and milk with berries or oats. Toast with peanut butter and banana. Smoothies = berries, whey protein and milk. I even like just whey with milk, shake it up. Pancakes with peanut butter and banana. Roll em up and eat w/some lean ham. Breakfast is my favorite meal and I eat it big.

Try Lean Steak or Turkey Rashers. Personally I prefer a liquid breakfast with a home-made protein smoothie with added fruit and yoghurt.
