A criminal is defined as one who breaks the law so by your statement you're saying that anyone who breaks the law has less value in your eyes. That is a rather arrogant, holier than Thou statement to make.

I've already said this - a criminal that is in jail for rape, murder and child molesting (or abuse).

Duration does matter, how could one compare a night in jail and a 1, 5, 10 year - life sentence? You really can't can you?

I never said most men were not appalled by rape, I said many not all.

Regarding 1 or 2 - at first glance - I would say 1. If a spouse would force themselves upon another (man or woman - doesn't matter) I would find that most offensive. Yet, what would be mor offensive is the spouse that stays and accepts the abuse.

If you want to discuss the injustice towards men being wrongly acussed of rape - we'd need a different thread and I have to tell you - you would very surprise as to my views, they are not what you are suggesting.



I feel for them - as I feel for women and men that have never spoken of being raped in fear of being judged.

So for those that remain silent and those that are wrongly accused there is some sort balance in the numbers with those numbers.

I didnt read this whole thread , I just clicked on it late into the convo and was surprised by some of your posts which I quoted so if I misunderstood the context then I apologize for my ignorance. So it seems that you were using a far narrower description of the term convict than "criminal".
I still think that rape can take place in a short period of time so duration is a moot point.
I'm blessed that I've never been in a situation where a girl has accused me of rape but the reality is I'm 233lbs and 6' feet tall , people will tend to draw their own conclusions from first sight. If I was ever accused , I'm sure it would be sumthin like 233lbs steroid using animal rapes 110lb beauty pageant winner....
I think you'd have a hell of a job convincing a jury to convict any woman of rape- very few are gonna send a woman to jail for that.
I still think the Tyson case is a prime example of improper justice - conviction on balance seems a ridiculous notion.
