Pre and Post workout shakes

I should be doing a better job of getting these in. What do you guys do pre and post workout and why?
 
pre w/o is steak and brown rice. mid w/o is a protein bar about 20g sugar post w/o is chocolate muscle milk in root beer with ice 1 hour later is more beef and oat meal

Well, I didn't want to rain on your parade. Please post up - we don't care if your not a lady ;-)

Yeah, I'm cutting right now. I don't think that many carbs and beef would work! But it sounds good!

Bare in mind I change it every time I finish a brand. If it workd superb, then I go back.

Pre-workout: Super pump 250 1 scoop of BCAA (Waiting for amplify2 to get here)
During workout: SizeOn, glutamine, 1 scoop BCAA.
Post-workout: Protein shake wit glutamine, frut of life, GLA, Choline Choctail.
I'm charged all day long..
 
Pre-workout, I am having a meal about one hour before, I may be changing this soon to also include some form of shake.

Post workout, immediately after, creatine, glutamine and some BCAAs, about 20 min later, whey protein in skimmed milk or low fat yogurt and skimmed milk.
 
pre workout I always have a meal about 1 hour before, post workout my shake has: whey protein (fast absorption), honey (for insulin spike), glutamine and oats. On other times I have whey protein, aminos and a fruit such as banana or apple.

yummy 2 min post work shake= banana+ vanilla whey+ honey and sweetener if you want it really sweet+ some crushed ice into blender/smoothie maker.blend and serve.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, cold refreshing, and yummmmmmy for my tummy.:D
 
I don`t do shakes much at all anymore. I prefer to eat my food vs drink it I have eqq whites or chicken a lot of time following the gym.
 
Thanks guys...I feel like I need to add glutamine and BCAA. I'm not recovering like I used to - granted my pre and post workout nutrition is not the best. Sometimes I have a cancellation at work and run to the gym for my workout - I get them in when I can and am not prepared with food - then I run back to work and will be going until late at night with nada. I'll work on it!
