Pretty impressive #'s. What's done to it?

I used to have a 98 Cobra with 519Rwhp, just bought a 04 Cobra that with Minor Bolt-on's is making 425 rwhp.

I sport an awesome toyota corolla. At least I get better gas mileage than all of you.

its got vortech supercharger,intake,exhaust,headers,spec3 clutch,billet shifter,3.73 rear end,etc etc.
i will lose alot going to the new Zo6. it has 500hp but not as much as my 2000.

thats impressive hp when you get up to the 500 rande hey Black Sheep

I actually also own a 2004 F-150 and a 2004 Honda Civic, so I have all the angles covered.

And my civic gets better gas mileage than your Yoda' :D

damn bro. UA iron you wouldnt believe it but it gets great gas mileage.

i alos have a 04 Chevy Duramax Diesel and that thing has a chip in it and holy shit can you get some nice hp out of them diesels. i love it when a dodge hemi pulls up and i walk all over it. its great

I built the motor myself. 8.5:1 Comp JE pistons, and Manley Billet Rods. Forged Crank also.

19lbs of Boost out of a Vortech T-Trim, ported intake with Stock cobra heads. Long tubes, and full 3" exhaust with no cats. Tremec Transmission and Auburn/Moser rear end.

I had a 50hp nitrous kit on it, but never used it.

It dyno'd 519rwhp on 93 Octane in 90 degree Ill. summer heat. Car went 10:91 on ET streets, spinning 1st. ALL OUT OF A 281 c.i. Engine.

The C6 Z06 is nice, but the next Cobra will be 550 (detuned!!!) HP stock. They say with minor botl ons, opening up the exhaust and a computer tune you will be able to pull700hp out of it all day long.

just barely beat me, I'm sure your civic looks cooler though.

I used to have a 71 chevelle with a built 350 in it - that was my badass high school show off car.

I'm a college student anyway, I (my parents) cant afford for me to have a really nice car, especially with how outrageous my insurance would be.

Hemi's suck. Out of all the trucks I drove before picking the Dodge was by far the slowest. I got a 2004 F150 4x4.

the hemispherical head is superior - now it may be the build of the truck/final gear ratio that makes it suck - or just the fact that it has less hp than its rivals?

They wouldnt use the hemi head design in top fuel cars if it sucked.

Fuck the Hemi. I saw a chassis dyno run of an old Hemi car on Hot Rod TV the other day, and the piece of shit dynoed 330 horse at the rear tire. The Hemispherical combustion chamber design may be superior to other designs, but it is a 40 year old design. You can't tell me that someone hasn't come up with something better in the last 40 years.

Somebosy Has - FORD. DOHC motors making more horsepower with under 300ci.
 
99 Civic Si and 93 Land Cruiser.....like driving the civic more, better gas mileage, than the Land Cruiser..more of a weekend vehicle,inclement weather, hauling stuff to donate to charities

imnot a nig fan of the s14 my cousin has a s14 and s13 and tey have he same red top same mods running about 440 hp the s13 looks better abd woiuld smoke the doors off the s14! the s13 isd about 500 lbs lighter and 2 inches shorter

My '91 Honda has hemispherical combustion chambers too. BFD. The Dodge is still saddled with Chrysler "quality". And the new "Hemi" V8 has nothing at all in common with the classic 426 Hemi from the '60s, the engine that is the basis for all the top fuelers.

Oh, to answer Coldblue1955's question -- 1991 Honda Civic CRX Si with a DOHC engine swap. I need to get another year or two out of that poor old car, before my finances are in good enough shape for me to get something decent.

I would be curious if the new corvette 6.0 400-hp 6.0L LS2 V8 would work with the impala ss supercharger connected after pully and other supercharger parts are upgraded.
