Possible to injure tendon or ligament pinning ?

Pinned my left quad, next day just to the side of pinnlocation and stretching about 4-5 inches down the leg I can feel a tendon or ligimant that is very sore..... is it possible I pinned in or near the tendon or perhaps the oil just leaked downward? I always have very minor pip no matter where or how much I pin but never had it affect a tendon or whatever this is...

are you sure you just didnt injure yourself doing something else?

It's possible some gear made it's way downward if you pinned the quad low. If that is the case you'll feel better in a few days.

Pinning is not for everyone and neither are steroids

Just sounds like a bad pin to me. Nothing to do with tendons or ligaments
