possible heart prob?

i had a similar problem where it felt like i had pain over my heart, my heart would feel like it skips beats, and strong acid reflex off and on...ive been to two doctors and both said i seem fine. later on i found out it was a hiatal hernia

Is not your heart mang....heart problems have different symptoms. A sharp pain in the chest is usually something in the rib cage or some nerves. The heart, first of all, does not hurt. When you have a heart attack you have a pain accross the whole chest, not in one specific point but a pain like if a train passed over you; you get breathlessness, you feel like having five 45lb plates over your chest.

I get those sharp pains in the center of the chest sometimes after a brutal chest workout.

yes mines similar.. my heart rate is quite slow, resting is 40-50 bpm, but thats because i'm on beta blockers, and mine beats like tick tick tick tick... then pauses for a second then continues, keeps beating like this, but i guess thats normal.. anyway i dont have the acid reflux so my condition probably isnt the same as yours

Thanks what you have said makes sense, but it gets annoyin after a while, especially when its been going on for 8 months... and i'm pretty certain heart pain wouldnt be going on for 8 months without it givin me a heart attack by now.. which i'v been told is highly unlikely coz i dont have any risk factors.. doesnt run in the family, my cholesterol is 5.9 which is just slightly over borderline but i'm on a diet to bring that down, bp is 130/78.. dont smoke, im 6'2 and slim, and im only 32.. i really need to do something for me to get this feelin that im gonna die out of my head http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif

I hate to tell you this but everyone is going to die from heart failure one day, even you. Maybe you were having pain before you took AAS but didn't think much of it cause you didn't have anything to blame it on. Now you do. What I am saying is maybe it is psychological. Lots of things can cause pain in that area but don't mean it is the heart. It is naturally the first thing you think of in that area. Hell I just had the shingles on the left side and thought I was surely suffering a heart attack at first. Sounds like you had it checked out very well so don't let fear control your life.

Thanks for the advice... its very frustrating tho, as soon as i get slight tingle in my chest i think OMG something is happenin to my heart.. its coz off all this that i've not been able to return to work since august.. luckily my employers are quite understanding

Do yourself a favor and check into heart burn, have had similar problems and turned out to be acid problems due to chemicals in the damn food.
