Possession of anabolic steroids is illegal

First off, (CEO) to say the Revolutionary War was started over a 3% tax hike is a severe oversimplification and just a symptom of a much larger issue. Remember the Quote " Why should a country the size of an island rule a nation as large as a continent."-(Thomas Paine) would be a more fair argument. (Zyglamail) as far as our government is concerned, The executive branch's duty is to enforce ALL laws, whether they are meaningless, baseless, stupid or erroneous. Our govt. would be completely inaffective if it arbitraily enforced some laws and not others. Your right our govt. is fat with lobbying groups. To name a few AARP(protects senior citizens) NRA(true keepers of the 2nd amendment)NAACP(civil rights). These groups are watch dogs to made up of millions of members(of which you could be in any one of these) to ensure our govt. doesnt tread on our rights.

You say our govt. has strayed from the original ideals of the founding fathers please expand upon with examples.

Some politicians are liars, Thankfully the ones here in North Carolina are pretty good. Govt. is fat with useless spending I agree. But I think an economic collapse is a little drastic of a claim. Restructuring would completely negate"OUR FOUNDING FATHERS" organization of capitalism and democracy. The bottom line is we need politicians with principles and only then our govt. will flourish beyond the foreseeable eye.

Gysgt, once told me every time I bitched about a problem "Get involved and do something about it"

I agree with Zyglamail. I am sickened by the hypocracy of our government. I'll stick to one topic here.

If a disease affects millions of people worldwide then drug companies will spend millions researching to find a cure in hopes of capitalizing on that. This is good business and has created a ton of great drugs.

If a disease affects 1000 people worldwide then drug companies will NOT spend any money researching to find a cure because there will never be a positive return on investment. Again, unfortunately, this is good business. This research is left to colleges, and non-profit organizations which fund their research via grants.

Ask yourself how many people have you ever known that truly had a wasting disease or other condition that required prescribed anabolic steriods as treatment by a doctor. The number is none to very few. Not nearly enough to require the mass production of AAS by these drug companies. So basically the drug companies are making 90% of their money from AAS from black market sales. Why doesn't the government investigate this? Well, because drug company "A" donates lots of money to congressman, senators, etc. during their election campaign. They scratch each others back. If congressman "X" investigates this and comes down on drug company "A" do you think the drug company is going to donate any money in the future? I think not! And forget about using the drug company "A's" mountain resort located in Aspen, CO.

This is the kind of bullshit that is ruining our country.

I understand lobby groups, many of them anyways, are here to help protect our rights, but many more simply toss money at the problem and buy politicians. The more our government gets involved and expands its powers the more tangled things become and the harder it is to govern.

This is simply a perspective call on my part but I dont feel that our forfathers or even the government of the early 1900's had a desire for the government to have its nose in every aspect of our lives like they do now.

Well, thats just it as the gov sits now they are not going to voluntarily sepnd the money nore the time needed for restructuring. And what I mean by restructuering is reprioritizing things and getting things and priorities back into perspective. The process of reprioritizing and getting government back on track would likely lead to fewer government jobs and I hate to say it but they are not going to do a bunch of work to put themselves out of a job. Thats why I think nothing short of economic collaps will bring about the changes that we should really have. People by there very nature are lazy and complacent, its about survival.

Yes, yes, I have heard the same BS from lots of people and if I felt I could actually change things I would, unfortunatly our current state of government doesnt allow for change of any drastic nature so I am forced to live with the mess we currently call government.

Maybe off topic slightly but has anyone noticed how in the last few years the dosage of anabolic steroids made by the companies has increased per ml?
Not uncommon now to see 200, 250, even 400mg per ml, partially due to these manufacturers knowing their main clients are bodybuilder/sports athletes, taking far more than stated dosages.
What type of illness needs a 400mg testosterone shot? None, even 50mg is high in medical use.

Its all about the money, which is sad in this kind of industry, but lets face it each pharmacutical company is run for profit, and will only take action that gives good returns. Not very thoughtful of them but thats the way it works until something is done

That's exactly why nothing will change because of that self defeating attitude you have. Unfortunatly a lot of America has the same attitude and this is why politicians are corrupt because we citizens do not hold them accountable and we feel powerless to make a change.

Its easy to sit back and blame it on me and other americans who feel we have no power because then you yourself have a reason to support the government the way it is. Lets face it, unlike most of these politicians, I do not have a silver spoon in my mouth or daddies money to support me while I go on campaign and fight to turn things around. The problem has gotten so out of control that you are correct, I do feel powerless but the government didnt get that way from me or others like me in this generation, its a rolling behemouth and getting more out of control each year and it was beyond my reach long before I got to the age where I even thought of these issues. In the end I can say its government who gave us the defeatist attitude and you can sit back and say the defeatists attitude is what allowed the governemtn to grow and we would both be right, its kind of like asking what came first, the chicken or the egg.

I could go on and on and on, but honestly the subject is so deep now and so many things are out of whack that I wouldnt even know where to begin. Im not saying I have all the answers and I know that in a country the size of ours not everyone will get what they want but I think if you took a general concensus from the amercian public and asked them to write down the top 10 things that are most important to them you would likely see that most agree on the majority of the points. However in a state of bloated government that we have now the people no longer make the choices about what is important to them we have to vote for people we think have our best interest at heart and as I allready mentioned most have skewed viewpoints and simply speak jibberish to apease the masses and when they get in office all their big talk is worthless because they either A. find out they have virtually no power to change the things they wanted to change or B. they never intended to change them anyway.

Do you really think our government is tyrannical---Zyglamail--then maybe you should move to Iraq and enjoy their great freedoms!

I think that in Iraq, alcohol and tobacco are forbidden, while AS are OTC.

Do you also realize it is against the law to take a shower with your cloths off? Also driving a red vehicle is against the law as well.

Just because something isnt illegal doesnt mean the law is correct. Also this board is accessed from many countries and in some AAS is legal.

How come some ass clown can smoke at the table next to me and I have to breath his second hand smoke which kills 400,000 people yearly? Also, how come I have to share the roads with drunks who also kill thousands yearly? How come the pregnant ladyt down the street has the right to terminate the life of her unborn child and the celebrities can have lipo, tummy tucks, face lifts boob jobs etc and I cant even use a little AAS to improve my strength and physique? Do you see where I am going with this? Our governemt if hipocritical and could care less about us, if they did they wouldnt be taking payoffs from pharmecueticals, alcohol and tabacco. The fact of the matter is we still have the right to free speech and we are here exercising that right regardless of the false criminilization by our tyranical government of what we are discussing.

excellently put bro...karma to you
