Depends on your goals entirely. If I were to run primo or something to that effect then I'd run no less than 14-16 weeks probably.
Any short ester like prop or tren then 6-8 weeks. Besides ED or EOD pinning gets really old.
Unless you go no ester like test or tren suspension then you can go shotgun cycles of 3 weeks or so. But your looking at multiple daily injections and thats something very advanced that im sure no one here does. (including me) Plus test suspension is hard to fins and tren suspension is virtually impossible.
Long esters like test E,C, ect...I would personally not go less than 12 weeks.
If your diet is in check I cant see where you would actually start gaining fat? Unless your not using an AI and your estro/water retention gets out of hand at that point.
Short 6 week cycles just means your going to want to do more of them. Yes you might recover easier but you have to run more PCT's which will cost you more money. I think a few 6 week cycles and pct's a year along with costof it all would be more of a hassle then one 14-16 week cycle and a more in depth pct.
Either one long cycle will make you take more time to recover or you'll have to try and recover a bunch of times instead.
