And its pretty weak to liken this situation to having a baton shoved up his ass.

The point is that NONE of us know what happened. All we have seen is a silent video. You can't tell what type of resistance this kid is putting up. You can't tell if he was bucking in the officers grip or trying to bite someone.

oh please. I'm sure any reasonable person watching this video will say what sort of threat the suspect posed after being detained in handcuffs. lol.

this is just like the rodney king incident, where some tourist turns on their camcorder as the cops begin to 'beat' him, but the news organizations failed to mention that he was hopped up on PCP and liqour, endangering others by driving at speeds exceeding 100mph, and fighting with and resisting arrests with the police officers. poor rodney king...

If you can't listen to the cops and are dumb enough to assault one, you deserve a serious beat down.

Why would anyone Post a detailed response to this incident here without first at least seeing the video and reading an early account of the situation as it played out?

I'm sure a few details will come out in the next few days but IMO the video if VERY CLEAR, VERY CLOSEUP and very damning of the officer striking the dude in the face while his face is pressed against the car as he is bent over handcuffed.
