Plate Raises?

A shoulder excercise, front delts to be exact.

Hold a plate (10, 25, 35, 45lb) straight out in front of you, arms slightly bent. While keeping your locked in a slightly bent position, raise the plate from your thighs to slightly above your head and back down. That is a plate raise.

My wrists used to always hurt when I did front raises with a barbell or with dumbells.
Plate raises are great because they put less stress on your wrists. The only problem is... what the fuck am I gonna do when I can lift over 45lbs?

When you get to that point you can start slowing down your repititions and really exagerating the movement :) You will have boulder shoulders!

Yes we have ivankos 110lbs (50kg) plates at my gym. I wont be doing any plate raises with them mofos though.
